The only well-written gay characters die of AIDs and prolapse twice.

What’s this obsession with anal prolapses?
Also; In any story with an ill-fated gay character, prolapses never enter the equation.
Y2KKK
Two relics of the past that never amounted to anything. How apropos.
The only well-written gay characters die of AIDs and prolapse twice.
Willow Rosenberg. Apollo and Midnighter. Bianca Montgomery, up to a point. John Constantine. Sailors Neptune and Uranus, as long as it’s not the DIC dub. Jun Fudo, but only in the anime; in the OG manga the lesbians are largely offensive stereotypes.
Deadpool.
Just that one example alone fries your chimichangas.
@kuyohashi
Sailors Neptune and Uranus
Nanoha Takamachi and Fate T. Harlaown.
If one example burns the OP's shitbiscuits, two shakes his world to bits, three leaves nothing left to 'argue' with after a full-on Starlight Breaker.
Bear in mind, his definition of a “well-written gay character” is one that conforms to his idea that they’re all depraved sex addicts who do nothing but have unprotected anal sex until they die of AIDS. The idea that gay people in real life might be even slightly different than that, which is why they’re not written that way by people whose heads are outside their rear ends, doesn’t even register. Fitting that his name is based on a relic of the past.
So let's get this straight... you're all for the Bury Your Gays Trope
Let's just ignore Vastra and Jenny from Doctor Who
Let's ignore Thelma Bates from Hex (although, sadly, every gay character ends up as a ghost on that show, despite Thelma having character conflict)
Let's ignore Steven Universe, and She Ra and the Princesses of Power.
And that's not getting into all the shipping fans get up to.
Confused?
