I will agree with the statement to an extent. I'm not a fan of drastically altering established characters for no particular reason. Granted, I also am against people suddenly being totally down with making deals with demons, having been sleeper agents "the entire time" with no build up, the "it was a clone/mind control!" all along. Pretty much I am just against making drastic changes to characters without build up.

I will admit to not being interested in Frozen, but know about it. If a character had no interest in anyone, like Elsa, was fond of a girl, whatever. That is starting something, not changing it. Steve Rogers coming out as gay would be fine if there was any build up for it in the decades of publication.

The veracity of the statement depends on evidence. He said he had evidence of the fraudulent certificate, provided none. Obamagate is undefined. Voter fraud isn't as large an issue as he seems to think, and the election tampering helped him.

Whenever I hear of cultural appropriation it tends to be highly xenophobic and exclusionary.

It tends to boil down to "Something originally came from X, you're not X, stop doing that something." And that mindset is terrible.

Insulting a culture for mocking something they do (if the thing isn't worthy of being mocked), dressing up as an offensive stereotype, or claiming something as your own, sure, don't do that. Looking at the summation of the article, the woman is a trained Irish dancer and her long practice in that style made doing whatever fad dance she wanted to get in on difficult. She used the one she's trained in instead. That is perfectly harmless.

You'd think an actual psychic would be able to engage in more professions than "Con artist."

I mean, if I had actual psychic powers and wanted to help people, some sort of law occupation would be good. Laywer, police, investigator, etc., all could really gain from someone who is able to read people's minds, clairvoyantly view crime scenes or hidden evidence, what have you.

If a psychic was ever are in financial straits but still wanted to be generous, just play some cards for quick cash, hit the slots, play the lottery then really give back to the community.

Instead we get con artists and thieves.

2. That's not a real trial. It's like a member of the Klan getting off because the all white, possibly mostly fellow Klansmen in the jury wouldn't convict the guy for killing a black. The House wanting an impartial trial is laudable, but hard to do.
3. Sure, bring up witnesses unrelated to the impeachment. And they can say under oath the conspiracy theories are off base or hear lots of "Objection. Relevance?" Going on. Show the world you don't care about anything but pandering to your base and greed.

So a "Coup de tat" as a noun includes "two governments waging war to take over the other." While simultaneously not being a war? That flimsy a definition means every conflict between two nations is effectively a coup. Does it apply to larger wars like either World Wars? If one nation simply aims to repel another's aggression, wins, and doesn't take over, what's that called?

And, @Chloe, it was a multi-person conspiracy. They were going to kill the Vice President and Secretary of State as well. At the time the line of succession didn't go beyond that. Both the others failed, the VP assassin just got drunk and left, the Secretary of State tried and failed.

But this guy is monster. The way he killed her woild have taken up to 10 minutes, during which she would have passed out. He then went on to look up how to dispose of bodies, then taken pictures with her corpse, and then going out on another date with her body hidden. In his hotel room.

So, yeah. Not rough sex gone bad. This guy is an asshole. Hope he rots in prison.

The "traveling vs driving" thing is one of their arguments. It's one reason they use to explain why they shouldn't need a driver's license or to drive safely.
