Malignant narcissists are, by and large, completely incapable of understanding that the things they do might be seen in a negative light. It is quite possible, that most of the time, Trump doesn’t even realize that the things he says and the things he does come across as absolutely hideous to a majority of people. When he’s faced with the fact that they do, he becomes angry and frustrated and lashes out. This is classic narcissist behavior. And narcissists always find enablers in plenty. Ask me how I know.
