It's amazing how if you tell someone a lie over and over and over eventually they start to believe it. If you look around, it's everywhere. And because it's everywhere, people just believe it must be true. Today I was looking on the back of a package of those glow in the dark stars that you stick on your ceiling (stocking stuffer for my son), and it had a whole paragraph about the big bang! And how having these stars is like looking back in time to the beginning of the world.

My experience is that Catholics seem to confuse religion with faith. They are so hung up on the traditions and teachings of their religion they have put their faith in them and forgotten, or never knew, the Bible.
Homosexuality is wrong. It is a sin. God says so. To push homosexuality people have to ignore that fact that homosexuality is a sin. They have to reject God. Freedom of religion is their right but our founding fathers that penned these rights also realized homosexuality was, and is, wrong. Homosexuals have to ignore the better judgment of our founding fathers and throw out family values. Even ignoring this, homosexuality is still indecent and immoral. To defend homosexuality you must reject decency and morality. If there is no sin, no God, no tradition of our founding fathers, no sexual decency and no sexual immorality, then how can anything be wrong? If it is acceptable to be a homosexual, then how can we condemn polygamy, pornography, sexual harassment, sexual language, bestiality or any other form of sexual behavior? Why do teenagers need majority capacity? They need it for long lasting, greatly significant or special things. If there is nothing special about sex, there is no sin or God, family values do not matter, the law is changed as with homosexuality, there is no morality or decency then there is really no need for majority capacity or an adult mind. After all they understand it well being trained in school. God said both are wrong. I agree. They should be compared together. If we just ignore someone practicing the sin of a homosexuality then what reason do we have not to ignore the sin of a someone have sex with a consenting and knowledgable minor?
I always thought it would be astounding if they were able to go into space say 6,000 years at the speed of sound take a recording and litteraly hear "LET THERE BE LIGHT!" That would be hard to explain.

As a former satanist, the peace sign as you know is made up of two symbols. one, an upside down broken cross, two- a circle. During the medieval ages when someone wanted to belong to a satanic coven there were six steps that were part of the initiation. I don't remember all six off hand but the last two steps I remember. 5th step is to recite the Lord's prayer backwords. The 6th and final step for the initiation was the person was given a wax candle shaped in a form of a cross. They would then turn the wax cross upside down and disavow their allegiance to Christ and the church and then brake the upside down cross. The circle represents eternity.
When you put together the circle with the upside down broken cross it means one's eternal separation from Jesus and the church, and their eternal loyalty to Satan.
In the 60's, the Hippie movement was started by a group of satanists I believe were from Montana. They used the 'peace' sign as a way to start to propagate the philosophies of satanism. The hippie movement was actually a way to deceive people to turn from the Lord and follow the ways of Satan. Beginning with Hedonism, you know the sexual revolution, etc. From then on it's been moving forward ever since. Our society today is a product of the New age movement starting in the early 20th century and was promoted during the Hippie movement with rock music as the means to get the message out.

Respectfully I disagree, the explosion of child porn and Internet porn completely eclipses what was going on in the 70's. I totally agree with you I was so saddend when my old church (me and my wife are members of) knew me and her were seperated and she was living with her bf. She still goes to that church living in sin and no one talked to her our brought up her situation, because they said only if she wants too. Even the pastor who I looked up to hasn't said anything, but that they don't want to discourage or scare her. That they are showing God's love. I have been upset about the innocent children in all of the fighting in Gaza....but this thought came to me....these little children that are dying would have been taught Islam and hate...this way they have a chance to go to heaven!! It's terrible that they are dying and my heart is sad....but when I was talking to God this thought came to me....the ones that are dying are going to be able to go to heaven....instead of growing up and following Islam...so, something good is coming out of this....

Of all the Satan-derived religions, athiesm is the one that gets in my craw the most. Them people are always after "logic" or some other proof that the LORD exists and is involved in our lives in some meaningful way.
Fact is, the only "proof" we have for God is that we each have some ability to sense him. We've all been told from birth that there is some type of God - the muslim have their moon god, the catholics have the queen of heaven, the hindu have that Shiva, etc.
Now we all know that these are false gods, but dang, at least it's a god and because people have beliefs that they've been told from birth just lets me know that it has to be the truth - that there is God. I just happen to know that Jesus is the right one.
Like someone said above, the martyrs didn't get killed over a LIE! They knew the truth and stayed with it because they knew Jesus was real. Even the Muslims today are killing themselves to be martyrs because they know there is a afterlife. They might be wrong about the afterlife, but they definately know that something is there - why would they be willing to die for it if it was all a fake?

The reason I ask this is that a co-worker's father has just recently been diagnosed with cancer (they are very catholic). The doctor's didn't know how bad it was until further testing could be done. Just today this co-worker said that the doctors say that the prognosis looks good. When she was telling us she said "thank you everyone for all of your prayers". She was telling this to me and two other girls. The two other girls are Catholic, I am the only saved Christian.
So I feel like the only prayer that counted was mine and that God doesn't even listen to their prayers. Could that be so or am I sounding a bit arrogant to even think that?

From what I have been able to see from the maps the earthquakes are indeed swarming and at a good bit stronger levels than normal. Keep in mind that a mag 4 quake is ten times stronger than a mag 3 quake which in turn is ten times stronger than a mag 2 quake.
That means that the normal mag 1 and 2 range quakes are not all that strong considering that they are occuring under the worlds largest super volcano. But now we are seeing them approaching mag 4 (3.8) which would be 100 times more energy released than a mag 2.
This could actually be nothing more than minor stirrings and nothing to worry about. But in light of the absence of the United States in end times prophecy I am concerned about anything that could cause us to stop being a world power. And Yellowstone is definitely one of the things that could do as much or more than all the worst plans of the terrorists. In fact, if Yellowstone went off it could bring on more than one biblical prophecy. So now the question is; what position are we in related to bible prophecy? Have any of the things that must happen first happened or could Yellowstone go off at any time now and not be out of the end times timeline?
If Yellowstone did go off it would bring on the prophecies of the sun darkening like sackcloth, the moon being red as blood, and would also bring on a version of nuclear winter for the entire world.
