I have a liberal friend who voted for Obama and is such a Bush hater that I honestly believe he would vote for Osama Bin Ladin for president if it meant defeating Bush. I have tried to work on him about his non belief but his heart is more hardened than that of Pharoh in the book of Daniel.

Those woodpeckers that survived could only be woodpeckers that had the genetic makeup to have long beaks. A simple study on genetics reveals that once the genetic information has left, no new information grows. All changes result from a LOSS of genetic information, there is no example anywhere of an increase in information.
Therefore, while longer beaked woodpeckers could survive better and, consequently, produce offspring with only the information included on longer beaks - there is no possibility that they could EVER produce offspring that would genetically transform into creatures that carry completely NEW DNA - magically becoming different animals as time goes by.
One problem believers in evolution have is they do not understand the leap that has to be made from genetic mutation and loss of information resulting in minor changes inside of species, in comparison with the problem of trying to transform one animal into another by adding of genetic information.
In class they will give you all these examples like the woodpecker or the peppered moth. Give me a break. That's not changing from one animal to another. But they will tell you it is the same thing on a smaller scale, so you can believe evolution. It is NOT the same thing. That is as great a leap as it would be to take an example of stripping down a '33 Ford to make it a highboy, and saying that's the same kind of changes as it would be for it to gradually become a flying Pegasus. Totally different thing going on. One is stripping down, the other is fantasy. But people swallow it like babies and mashed bananas. sigh....

If I could, I'd run to Him, throw my arms around His neck and shower Him with kisses. As it is, I fall on my knees at all sorts of times of the day and tell Him of my love for Him. I ask Him all the time how I can find ways to show Him I love Him all day long. I will spontaneously throw kisses upward at Him as I'm driving, or sitting here, or worshiping Him in song. I spend hours a day searching for Him in His Word to me. I can't get enough of Him. :)

It was as if I had been struck by lightning! I dropped the book I was perusing, stood stock still with my arms pointed skyward and said "YES LORD!". The shopkeep and the two other people in the shop looked at me as if I was insane. Turns out they knew something I didn't. The 1:45 fright train crosses the road every day at that time, and usually blows it's whistle when it's going through the intersection. I was sooo embarassed! In my town, the atheists and secularists have banned a Christmas tree and nativity scene this year, whereas every year before that they have been legal. I know this is happening all over the place but I never thought I'd personally feel the presence of Satan in my town. They achieved infamy by picketing the funerals of gays and U.S. soldiers with their main motto being "God Hates Fags." Now, I believe that Fred Phelps, love him and his tactics or hate him, is right in one aspect: God DOES hate fags. The Bible spells out exactly what God thinks of gays, so why the political correctness about it? I think every Christian ought to be expressing what an abomination it really is, after all, if the message is loud and shocking enough, perhaps more gays will convert, and make it to Heaven and NOT the lake of fire. I'm not trying to be 'tinhatty' here......but since I think our country is quickly headed down the path of no return I thought I would start a thread to ask what it will be like....or could be like. Not sure if this is the forum I should post this in, but since it is sure to be a last days event I thought this was appropriate. Moderators please move it to the correct category if this is wrong.
So many people have bought up guns and ammunition....seems like it would be difficult for them to confiscate them all....how do you forsee them doing this?
Do you think our children will go to school as usual or will there be a total breakdown of this? I can see homeschooling not being allowed.
Will food be rationed? With all the stores we have it seems like it might be hard to do this.....if they purposely ration food, then so many stores will go out of business and then you have a loss of jobs and with people out of work that creates unrest and more of a problem on their end I would think. Better to keep us working and distracted so they can slide stuff by us.
I'm just curious what others are thinking on this. I guess a study of the Adolf Hitler years might be a way of getting a handle on how this could be implemented.

Obama has a voting record of extending abortion to the FOURTH TRIMESTER (after birth). He has been busy backpedaling and spinning his votes against the Illinois law to protect the newborn, but the facts are out there. At least he had the guts to actually vote (even if it was the wrong vote, as is his pattern), compared to the other 129 times he voted "present" to avoid anything remotely controversial in his voting record. It is also apparent from his massive "present" voting record that Obama does not consider murdering children as "controversial enough" to vote "present".
Here is a tip for Mr. Barack Hussein Obama: You can't vote "present" as the President of the USA, or dodge tough issues that are controversial.
Of course he is now backpedaling in an attempt to explain away and hide his abysmal voting record in protecting children AFTER Birth. Politicians like Obama with no moral center do things like that.

You know what I do not get, Obama keeps saying how he hates torture and that he will stop all kinds of torture when he becomes president, but yet does he not think that killing babies is not torture? So lets treat the terrorist with kid gloves, but when it comes to babies, well killing them is OK, I just don't get it!
I am sick and tired of the homosexual community calling us homophobes, when the reason we disagree with their lifestyle has nothing to do with fear!!!
The reason we disagree is because we believe in the God of the Bible and He states that homosexuality is an abomination.
If anyone fears the other it is the homosexuals, I say it is time to put an end to what should be called 'Christophobia'!! That is the true problem with homosexuals. Fear of Christians and any other person who adheres to the Judeo-Christian ethics.
Farewell, President Bush, and thank you for all you did for the Iraqi people. So many new Christians have come to know God there thanks to your efforts in removing Saddam Hussein. Over a million Bibles have been sent there and they still can't keep up with the demand.
