Matt Walsh #racist #god-complex #wingnut #elitist mediamatters.org

On Tuesday, The Daily Wire’s Matt Walsh made the shocking claim that Rep. Maria Elvira Salazar (R-FL) is “not American” and should “go back to Cuba.” Salazar, in fact, was born in Miami and is an American citizen. Lashing out at Media Matters for pointing out this inconvenient fact, on Thursday Walsh reiterated his claim, arguing that citizenship does not equal American identity.

Salazar has been under fire in right-wing media for co-sponsoring the “Dignity Act of 2025.” Walsh has already called Salazar “a traitor” for co-sponsoring this legislation.

Working alongside the Trump administration, right-wing media have been on an escalating campaign to end birthright citizenship on the basis of a series of untrue myths. Walsh himself has called for an end to birthright citizenship and for deporting the American-born children of undocumented immigrants.

Salazar is not the only citizen Walsh has attacked. Last week, he claimed that Minneapolis mayoral candidate Omar Fateh “was born in America, but he’s not actually an American.” Walsh has also claimed that Puerto Rico, which is a territory of the United States, is “not American and it’ll never be.”

Walsh is setting himself up as the judge and jury of national identity. Given that he believes “this country was in fact primarily built by white men," it’s not hard to figure out what he thinks constitutes an American.

CHARLIE KIRK (HOST): We are in a state of national mourning as we should be, and the Democrats, they're so despicable. The Democrats are not lifting a finger to remember the well over 100 people that have died in Texas hill country. What you are not being told by the media anywhere is that the death toll likely would not have been as high if it wasn't for DEI. This Texas tragedy is just the latest example. It's not just incompetence. This is DEI working to undermine meritocratic institutions, and more people likely died than otherwise would have because of DEI. Let me prove it to you.
In 2014, the Obama administration sued the Austin fire department, about 11 years ago, fire union for supposed racial discrimination resulting in a settlement. So the Obama administration was so worried that the fire department in Austin, Texas was racist because, you know, when you're putting out fires, you gotta make sure that you have a diverse fighting force. All jokes aside, well, the pressure was on the city to prove its diversity credentials. So a few years later, they picked Joel Baker as their first Black fire chief. He announced right away that promoting diversity is one of his top priorities. They brought him in from Atlanta, and his priority was not putting out fires or being prepared for floods. No. His priority was to make sure that the fire department was Blacker.

Greg Kelly #wingnut #psycho mediamatters.org

GREG KELLY (HOST): So, remember this? Last year, President Trump last year in a courtroom flanked by two great attorneys, Emil Bove on the left and on the right is Todd Blanche. Today, where are these guys? Well, President Trump is in the White House. That's pretty awesome. Emil Bove has just been nominated for a judgeship, federal judgeship. And Todd Blanche is the deputy attorney general, the number two ranking official in the Justice Department. And he's about to meet with Jeffrey Epstein's ex-girlfriend in prison, Ghislaine Maxwell, to find out what she knows.
Let's find out what is this all about. And she's also been subpoenaed by the Oversight committee. I think this is great. I do have a feeling that she has been — she just might be a victim. She just might be. There was a rush to judgment. There was a lot of chaos there for a while.
All right, granted, she hung out with Jeffrey Epstein, and I know that's apparently not good, but she's in jail. For how long now? 20 years. A 20 year sentence. Well, Alan Dershowitz is one of the greatest attorneys who ever lived. And he has this to say about Ghislaine Maxwell situation, speaking with Newsmax veteran Eric Bolling.
[…]
KELLY: She deserves to be out. And maybe she never deserved to be in there in the first place. Now, how could you say such a thing? I mean, these are perverts. These are child molesters. We've heard that from whom? From the media, from prosecutors. Prosecutors prosecuted President Trump over nothing. I don't know, but I'm skeptical of everything and everybody these days. And you should be too.

Laura Ingraham #wingnut mediamatters.org

LAURA INGRAHAM (HOST): Don't you love how suddenly the Democrats are caring about the Epstein files?
[…]
INGRAHAM: Hakeem Jeffries is worried about that because they really pushed for release of files, if they exist, during the four years of Joe Biden. Look, they don't care about transparency. We know that. They think somehow this will hurt Trump, even though if it was going to hurt Trump, Biden obviously would have released it. It looks like it's already starting to backfire.
[…]
INGRAHAM: So, the media, on top of all that — so, the voters, they care about their jobs, their healthcare, the kids' school, crime, the border.
But the media's been hyping this idea of, well, Trump, you've got to hire a special prosecutor. You've got to appoint a special prosecutor. Okay, I think they've kind of dismissed that.
But my advice to the White House: do not ever fall into a special prosecutor trap. Never a special prosecutor.

LAURA INGRAHAM (HOST): The doomsdayers, wrong again about tariffs causing inflation. They were wrong about tariffs leading to shortages. They were wrong about tariffs tanking the market, more record highs today if you didn't see that, and now more proof they were wrong about tariffs leading to higher prices. A new report today that Japanese car makers, contrary to predictions, are slashing prices of imports into the United States, not hiking them. So, the truth is tariffs work. Always have, always will. They boost our manufacturing and force others to get more competitive.

Benny Johnson and Mike Flynn #wingnut #conspiracy mediamatters.org

From the July 21, 2025, edition of The Benny Show[…]

BENNY JOHNSON (HOST): Final question, general. Since you are a military man, you rose to the highest conceivable ranks within the military and within the civilian structure in the White House. Your credentials are impeccable. When Stephen Miller calls this a seditious conspiracy, when Tulsi Gabbard calls it a traitorous act, treason against our country — those seem like legal terms, but also really military terms. And since Barack Obama was the commander-in-chief, what angle would it be to go at this from a military perspective?[…]
MICAHEL FLYNN (GUEST): I would. I absolutely would. I would advise them to go after on those terms and make sure that they have them locked in tight in terms of the legalities

But what I want people to understand is, you know, after World War II, we had the Nuremberg trials, and there was a lot of people that were found guilty. And because they stood at — when they got on the stand, they said, well, I was just following orders. Well, Jim Clapper, John Brennan, Jim Comey, Susan Rice, Sally Yates, and many others, Lisa Monaco, many, many others, you're not gonna get away with it

If Barack Obama directed you, and it appears that he did — this is very intentional. This eight December 2016 meeting that they had where it looks like[…]
In addition to some of the other critical criminal evidence that has been discovered, yeah, I think that they're gonna have to look at conspiracy, treason, traitorous activities by some of these people[…]
They were ready to convict and throw Donald Trump in prison for the rest of his life, Benny. And so, you know, all bets are off when it comes to immunity. There's no immunity for this president, not for President Obama for what he did

JOHNSON: Could you have a military tribunal for the commander-in-chief?

FLYNN: I'm not — you know, I don't know. But, you know, but it'd ought to be explored, Benny. It should be explored
