Oh, and since apparently the US media has collective amnesia on the point, let's just remember that the US overthrew the democratically elected leader of Iran, Mohammad Mosaddegh, in 1953 after he planned to nationalise Iranian oil supplies, replaced him with a brutal dictator, the Shah, and has been butthurt ever since 1979 that their nice compliant puppet state stepped out of line and tossed out their hand-picked leader.

The US has wanted regime change in Iran for forty years and they're about to go and get it by any means necessary.

If any other country did this sort of insane shit, they'd be decried as a rogue state.

The US is a rogue state and the entire regime needs to be overthrown and all the leaders past and present put on trial in The Hague.

All US leaders? Why?

I mean, he’s not entirely wrong that the US needs to be held accountable for all the crap it has made everyone else go through… Especially the current leadership. But overthrowing the entire regime? And putting all past leaders on trial? Yeah, that’s a bit crazy.

OF course, the US wants a regime change. But it seldom if ever works to come from outside and just install a new leader, without having most of the population on your side. The US has done this many times in the past and it never works long term. Most of the people who arrive at your southern border from central America are victims of the mayhem that such dictators, or their lack of leadership, usually cause. If you don’t watch out, the wannabe-dictator in the White House will cause similar mayhem in the US, if not the whole world.

But no, putting all past leaders on trial won’t work. Most of them are dead, for one. And, again, overthrowing an entire regime seldom work, if you don’t have most of the population on your side to back the new leader.

Would not put it past a guy this divorced of reality to think of doing a cadaver synod retread.
