I THINK Walker is trying to appeal to bigoted racists by showing his approval of Archie Bunker. I guess Walker doesn’t understand that ‘All In The Family’ was made to MAKE FUN of Archie and his attitudes.
Oh, just launch into your full-blown minstrel show already, Hershel.

Got news for ya. Herschel: “All in the Family” was based on the British sitcom “Till Death Us Do Part ”. The main character in that was Alf Garnett: a bigot who lived in the past.
…oh, and newsflash: that which featured a bigot - a British sitcom - was played by Warren Mitchell:
A Jew .
While said sitcom's creator Johnny Speight had Irish Catholic origins, ‘tis a fact that in his writings for TV he exposed bigotry such as misogyny and racism. No doubt Mitchell used the character he played to show unjustifiable bigotry in certain people through the irony of Garnett being played by someone who was the target of worse-than bigotry via such comedic social satire.
That last word: it's something you have no concept of.
But it's something - certainly via that which others will use against you, OP - which will ensure you won't have the last word in this matter.
Not sure what Mr. CTE is going for here, but I think you can still catch AITF reruns sometimes. And the thing about Archie was that while he wasn’t really a bad guy, his prejudices were still a serious character flaw, even if they were more ignorant than malicious.
