You fucks realize that the same science that gives us galaxies and an old universe are the same ones that make GPS work (speed of light delay quadrilateration), the same discoveries that allow planes to know where they are (Laser Ring Gyroscopes), allow us to make nuclear energy work (nucleosynthesis), and which describe how fusion works, ya?
What we observe of space via NASA and other space ventures is specifically and repeatedly applied on Earth. And what we observe on earth with respect to fusion, spectroscopy, and nuclear energy indicates what is happening up there is only explained on the basis of current stellar nucleosynthesis explanations.
Or in words your small theistic mind can understand: "as above, so below; as below, so too above."

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again; the vastness, mysteries, and beauty of the actual cosmos is more flattering to the belief in an almighty creator than all of existence revolving around a single, tiny mudhole filled with barely sentient apes that throw feces at each other (aka humanity). And this is coming from an atheist. Not only that, but you’d think that, for example, intelligent humanoid life existing on other planets and even galaxies would actually be more arguments for a creator deity existing than the opposite.
