Very good post. The jewish religion is troubling for a range of reasons (some of which you outline). My suggestion to jews: don’t be, follow the examples of the Wittgensteins and Poppers who rejected judaism in its entirety (Ludwig & Karl being two of the 20th centuries leading philosophers). There is also the problem of infant genital mutilation (practised by both jews and muslims & based on a fairy story). Western society gets excited when it is practised on women (ref Somalia) but not, apparently on men/male babies. Double standards in my book.
