On this week’s Pray with America’s Leaders, IFA Chief Program Officer Kris Kubal warned intercessors about what she described as a coordinated plan to provoke a national crisis in the weeks after the Nov. 3 midterm elections. The plan is laid out in IFA’s new special report, “The Red Line.”

According to Kubal, the report draws on thousands of transcripts and hundreds of recordings recently released on X by researcher Jennica Pounds, known online as DataRepublican, along with others who have been digging through online archives and recording meetings. Kubal said the material comes from inside a network of former USAID officials, retired national security leaders, and protest organizers.

“What they describe is not a protest movement,” Kubal said. “It is a plan to provoke a federal crisis after the midterms.”
As Kubal summarized the recordings, the strategy is to escalate clashes after the election and treat any use of the Insurrection Act as a trigger. If President Donald Trump invokes the act to restore order, or if governors refuse federal help, organizers would declare the federal government illegitimate and press to rewrite the Constitution.

Ojutiku, who said she came from a nation that endured frequent military coups, called the strategy “an old playbook that the enemy has been using for centuries.” She pointed to the current unrest in Europe as evidence of how it works. She said the church has been weakened in places, including by liberation theology.

Let’s pray that every plan to provoke chaos and overturn our constitutional order would be exposed and brought to nothing. Let’s pray for President Trump, governors, and law enforcement leaders that God would give them wisdom to keep the peace lawfully in the weeks ahead. Let’s pray that those involved in these schemes would repent, and that Americans would reject anyone who seeks to tear down the system of government God led our founders to establish.

As I write on October 9, 2026, reports of three named storms—Rachel, Simon, and Isaias—have formed over the oceans around North America. Storms at sea can develop into dangerous threats to coastal communities, bringing destructive winds, flooding, and tremendous uncertainty. Yet as I considered these three names, something beyond the weather caught my attention.

I believe spiritual storms are also gathering against America. These are not storms of wind and rain, but forces threatening our nation’s biblical foundations. And the meanings associated with these three names suggest a message I believe is prophetic for the Church in this hour. Texas intercessor Kathie Chan looked beyond the names and into their meanings.

Rachel is Hebrew for “ewe,” or female sheep. Simon comes from the Hebrew Shim’on, associated with hearing. Isaias is the Greek form of Isaiah, meaning “Yahweh is salvation” or “the Lord saves.” Together, they suggest a striking appeal: “Sheep, listen! The Lord is your salvation!”

One storm is the influence of Islam. There has been an explosion of growth of this conquering governmental system in ways that conflict with constitutional protections for religious liberty, equality before the law, and individual rights. Leaders and Christians should open their eyes to this threat and resist any effort to replace our constitutional framework with this brutal system.

Another storm is Marxist ideology. Its materialistic account of human nature, emphasis on class conflict, and historical hostility toward religious authority stand in profound tension with a biblical understanding of people as created in God’s image.

The physical storms may be gathering and we will pray for our coastlines and citizens, and we will pray against those spiritual storms too. Remember, the Shepherd has not abandoned His sheep. His power has not diminished. His invitation remains open to the lost and the wandering alike.

A growing number of white Democratic congressional candidates are leaning on their clerical credentials to court Christian voters, but a closer look at their records reveals positions that conflict sharply with biblical teaching on life, marriage, and family. As the 2026 midterms approach, five clergy members and seminarians running under the Democratic banner are testing whether faith-infused language can bridge the gap between progressive policy and traditional Christian conviction.

For Christians evaluating these candidates, the tension is not simply political but theological. The use of clerical titles and scriptural language to advance positions that contradict Christian teaching on life, marriage, and human dignity raises serious questions about what these candidates actually believe and who they represent. Scripture does not bend to fit political platforms, and believers are wise to evaluate candidates not by the credentials they hold but by the fruit their records produce. Pray for wisdom and discernment for Christian voters heading into the midterms, that they would weigh candidates carefully against the full counsel of God’s word rather than the selective use of religious language.

As June begins, the Trump administration is continuing a sharp departure from the policies and messaging of the Biden years. From the White House to American embassies around the world, federal agencies are largely absent from Pride Month observances, reflecting a broader shift in priorities and a renewed emphasis on national symbols and family-focused policies.
But this year, for the second year in a row, President Trump gave the American people what they wanted — what they voted for. No pride celebration. No proclamation demonizing parents against indoctrinating children. No lengthy diatribes. No secular agenda. The same federal agencies under the leadership of Biden — that celebrated the month — posted nothing about “pride” on June 1 under the leadership of President Trump. These changes extend to the State Department, which has made a hard shift away from promoting pride and ungodly sexuality.
For many Americans, these developments represent a return to government neutrality on cultural issues and a renewed focus on shared national identity. Others view the changes as part of a broader effort by the administration to roll back policies and initiatives championed by progressive activists during the previous administration.
For intercessors, however, this moment highlights the importance of praying for our leaders as they navigate cultural debates that continue to shape the nation. We prayed for an end to the erosion of biblical truth under President Biden, and those prayers have been answered through President Trump. Let’s continue to pray for truth and wisdom for our leaders, as well as for policies that uphold God’s design for individuals, families, and society.
