Females give birth and nurture a helpless undercooked fetus that's only able to communicate via assorted screams. You misinterpreted one screech from it and it dies. How do women instinctively know what the fetus wants despite not looking like the fetus, not being a fetus herself and having no way to determine what it's thinking through conversation?
This is where the empathy gap comes from. Males did not need to evolve the ability to accurately interpret the mental states of anything that doesn't look like them, so they will never have the same level of concern for women as vice versa. That's why the average whiteknight just wants to get laid, whereas the average pickmeisha is mostly stanning dicks because being mean to males is AbStRaCtLy UnFaIr and ReVeRsE SeXiSt. At the lowest level there is definitely some self interest in the form of prosocial approval and signalling her docility, but it's not as straightforward as stone cold opportunism of "pro female" males.
If women had male levels of empathy/theory of mind, men would be routinely killed and maimed for the kind of treatment they subject women to. No man would tolerate this degree of atrocity while whiteknighting and cooing the gender that perpetrates it. What you refer to as "patriarchy" wasn't established through physical force alone.
What are you going to do if your son is a rapist or an incel? 99% of "feminist" women would promptly make an exemption for him despite tweeting #killallmen all day, even if they're radfems.
