Jesus gave us signs that would accompany his return. One of which is stars falling from heaven. How can that be if the nearest star is 4 1/2 light years away?
The reality is that the meteor showers are these stars that are falling to Earth.

When the Conservative Christian Dr. Buzz Aldrin would say without fear of contradiction that meteorites aren't stars: and he has personal experience of essentially being one when the Command Module he and messrs Armstrong & Collins were in re-entered Earth's atmosphere, not even your 'Faith' that is just like his can substitute the Reality you reject, grateliar.

Reconciling one's faith with proven scientific fact. It's a thing.

…Except that meteor showers (aka “falling stars”) have happened a LOT all over the world in the last 2,000 years. So if they were proof of Jesus’ return, you’d think he’d be back already.

If Jesus said stars, he meant stars.

Usually in a good night you can spot a few meteorites, that's if you've nothing better to do, but sit outside in the dark. So it has been 2000 years, when is he coming back, Godot, I mean Jesus?

Meteorite showers are fairly common though. They're space rocks and usually burn up in our atmosphere, not falling stars.

Stars are not that far away. They roll around INSIDE the solid sky, along with the sun , the moon, all the celestial crap.

Stars doesn’t fell on planets (although they might “move” thanks to the inflating Universe) - it might be meteors you want to speak about.

Interesting enough, at some point, in reality, stars will fall out of the sky. But they will not fall to the earth. They will fall (be ripped, really) entirely from existence as a result of acclerating universal expansion.

Those have been happening since before Jesus birth and after death
