First part’s fine by me. All of these are potential necessities you may require to live in basic comfort and be able to pursue your dreams. Sure, an UBI might be premature with our current technological level but it might come a time where advanced mecahnisation and the AI might make it a necessity for advanced societies.
Right now, there’s a reason why most societies have a social net, from the most ancient times to now, whether by charities, social services or a mix of both, to help its members to have a the minimal living necessities.
