Here's my favorite argument against transitioning:

It’s dysphoria, not dysmorphia(hint, different thing). You don’t get to make arguments against other people free choice to transition.
Also, anorexia? You do not tell me how to treat myself or that I have to somehow force myself to be good with my chassis looking like a bloated pile of meat, I’ve dropped to slightly underweight(according to my BMI) and I’m much more mentally satisfied and at peace with myself this way. I feel no further need to drop it below that. My own family doc considers me in perfect shape, to the point where he actually asked me to get a chocolate bar or some ice cream every now and then just to not get too low blood sugar.
Anorexia is a potentially deadly disease. Starving to death is a very real danger.
Being a boy instead of a girl, or a girl instead of a boy is not dangerous in any way, shape or form.
We can legislate your bigotry out of existence.
Here in Britain: Race Relations Act. Sex Discrimination Act. Marriage (Same Sex Couples) Act. So why can't you just discriminate against those you don't like, OP...?!

They’ve been researching this for over a hundred years. Altering the mind to match the body hasn’t been terribly successful at relieving discomfort. Altering the body to match the mind seems to work a lot better.
