I live in Minnesota, and I can assure you that the majority of people in Minnesota, outside of the liberal cesspool in Minneapolis/St. Paul feel the same way, and would love for the federal government to come here and clean up this mess of a state. Literally nothing is done on the up and up here.

I also live in Minnesota, and while we do have our share of MAGA morons (unfortunately, my father’s one of them) and alt-right dipshits, most of us are pretty happy with things as they stand.
I have family who lives in Minneapolis. As a kid I used to go to Minnesota every summer to visit my aunt (my dad’s sister) and my half uncle and aunt (my mom’s half brother and his wife) and my cousins. My mom’s family lived in a place called Stacey and my dad’s family lived on Nicolette Island in Minneapolis. We’d make sure to go in mid-late July so we could see the Aquatennial on the Mississippi River. It was always so beautiful and while it was nice visiting my mom’s family, we always had so much fun in Minneapolis/St. Paul. There were so many concerts and so many places to go and have fun like every day.
I know there’s a lot of hatred from the country towards the city in the US. Our politicians love pitting groups against each other and even if they don’t they painted as weak. And liars like Moody here and others have taken advantage of the anonymity of the internet in order to spread lies, hate, hateful lies, and untrue hate far and wide.
As @jdcm pointed out, this administration is desperate and Trump has always been a liar. He’s fine with starting a race war and causing violence against innocent people he doesn’t know in order to further his power and protect his job.
Get these people the fuck out of power, now. I hope no one falls for this (I know some will though). All I can do is hope most people see through it.

So, the cities where people actually live in numbers, huh? This is why person by person representation matters in democracies. Yeah two cities can oblitervote the rest of a rural state/province(what is happening here in AB very soon) and there is neither anything you can nor should be able to do about it. If you so hate cityfolk deciding things in a democracy, you can always build a time machine and move back to the 1400s.
Confused?
