“Human rights are predicated on the theological notion that each and every human being is made in God's image and likeness, and as a result, have inherent value and dignity.”
Nothing mentioned about God in the Constitution. Closest you can get is the Declaration. And that doesn’t mention the Xian ‘god,’ just the deist concept of ‘their creator.’ Not OUR creator or THE creator.
“If God does not exist, you have no rights.”
I do notice that we didn’t actually get rights from worshiping God. Had to get the government to specify them. In fact, I don’t see how any god’s existence is required.
“If God does not exist, you have no freedoms.”
Your god wrote three of the 10 Commandments centered on him. You want us to believe that our freedom of religion is based on HIS input?
Pull the other one, it’s got bells on.
“If God does not exist, your life has no value.”
Feel free to draw the picture explaining this bullshit.
“If God does not exist, there is no good and evil.”
Depends on how you define good and evil, no? If you’re really lazy you can just say ‘whatever god says.’
“If God does not exist, truth does not exist.”
Again, need some reason to believe this isn’t just you making shit up.
“If God does not exist, beauty is not to be desired.”
Gonna just go ahead and decide that bullshit claims with no evidence can be ignored without evidence.
“Evil does not have a right to exist.”
SCOTUS has supported the 1st Amendment pretty much as an absolute, not based on whether it’s good or bad.
You guys would consider any religion that’s not yours to be evil. And atheism. But again, those freedoms are protected.
