I don’t think anything in science claims that there’s an assigned body?
But there IS science that says the things that add up to your identity may not be entirely limited to, based on, or in agreement with your genitalia.
So calling this science ‘anti-science’ is your attack on science, Villy-bear.

As is calling the observation an ‘assertion.’

Choose your next answer carefully, VillageBore: it's not only your entire ‘argument' - certainly morally - that's at risk of complete obliteration.

Most religious people are not idiotic liars, and yet here you are.

If you mean new age pseudohistory and ufo cults, that's also religious, there could be some atheists but they'd be even more rare among that movement than in the general population. Some like the Raelians are materialist but usually still believe in magic and the supernatural. They must also hold to pseudoscientific arguments to support their intergalactic UFO ideas, including the one claimed to be Jesus'... Then fundamentalists tend to want to redefine everything, even what is religious or superstitious, as justifications to hold on to their doctrines. But understanding human diversity doesn't have to be religious, it can be studied by looking at the evidence. Science is not about absolutes, it's about discovery and improving the understanding. Those complaining of orthodox science for instance, generally do so to promote their pseudoscientific views. If they really had evidence to support their views, real science would acknowledge it.

Now I can't speak for the religion of people who believe in ancient aliens but most debunkers of that crap tend to be non religious.
