It's impossible to compare modern art to modern science, false equivalence. One is artistic human expression, the other is an attempt to discover and understand the world and reality.

You use beautiful a few times, claiming that it strangely has to do with a specific moral code. I could point at many instances where the beauty of the world can no longer be perceived because of fatalism and religious indoctrination. Also, to many scientists, science has exposed the world's beauty even more than ancient humans had ever access to. There is no reason for knowledge about the world to not also be able to evoke human emotions and awe.

So this clearly exposes the motive. You have an ideological view of the world to preach and must misrepresent anything that competes with it. Yet many things will, considering that it's ideological and wants to impose reality, rather than discover or study it.

So far, relativity provides a better explanation for some of the scientific observations and much of its hypotheses have already been tested to be accurate (a few other implications may never be able to be fully verified). Then it's unclear if you also reject physics, but "rolls eyes" indicates that possibly. If so, you're denying some of the most established knowledge and working hard science.

If you are still mixing up science and ideology here, you have to first show evidence that human instincts are "God-given". In a scientific perspective, "believe nothing" can apply in the sense that conclusions must be derived from knowledge, but hypotheses can certainly be considered a form of belief, advancing propositions made by inference, to be tested. Then your "powers that be" would be confusing working knowledge and scientific theories with authoritarianism, also a false equivalence. But since you're confusing knowledge with art and religion, it's not too surprising. Ethics can be informed by science, the same for law codes, although both can also be based on ideology, or take in consideration other factors of human existence and society.

You appear to be dismissing as "mentally conflicted" and "hybrid weirdo" what does not fit your irrational ideals. However, characters in entertainment are rarely designed to portray reality, at the same time they often are presented as flawed and naive so that the audience can somewhat identify with them and appreciate a certain level of character development.
