Soylent Green was made in 1973. The premise was that, by 2022, we'd be eating people....
Well thanks to the likes of Greta and AOC, guess what?
'One of Ocasio-Cortez's constituents loses her mind over climate change during AOC's townhall, claims we only have a few months left: "We got to start eating babies! We don't have enough time! ... We have to get rid of the babies! ... We need to eat the babies!"'

The "constituent" was a planted troll from the LaRouche nutbars. Neither Democrats nor environmentalists are advocating cannibalism.
However, Kajm, you are hereby invited to eat me.
@WhiteNoise
Well that’s a pretty good reason not to, in a hypothetical situation with a safe way to do it, it could be a last resort situation but not much more.
As for the OP, that person was a paid actor, though, so I refuse to even address shit that rightist fuckheads paid other rightist fuckheads to say.
See, that’s how actual “crisis actors” work: they provide a sound bite for others to sensationalize and then disappear hoping to pin the crazy sentiment to the crowd. If you stick around after the fuss calms down enough that people start asking questions they’re going to find out very quickly that your name isn’t Joe and you’re not a plumber.
It is clinically insane to think that someone would hire entire towns worth of people to fake the deaths of their children requiring a lifetime commitment to the story and utterly impossible levels of coordination with government, law enforcement, and media not only locally but globally and then continue to remain active on the issue going out of pocket to organize and protest and attend regular vigils and continue with private actions such as psychological counselling outside of the public eye. Forever. Which would have to be bankrolled by all the money that exists in the world and require so much fine control over the entire world you’d basically control the world already making the whole venture kind of a pointless waste of effort.
Yeah, proven right wing plant.
That won't stop this shit from being repeated for years. Wanna know why they do this? Because their town halls have real loonies looking for their 15min, morons fired up by conspiracies who are so common they're ignored on that side. Sarah Palin?
And Libs aren't "loses (their) mind over climate change. The right are, they literally are claiming libs wanna take their hamburgers away, if anyones gonna eat babies the right would stand in line for it.
Lucilius is correct. The woman at the meeting was planted by a group called LaRouchePAC, who have admitted it.
Their POV is that since the speakers at the event did not condemn the woman and instead treated her kindly (because they believed her to be a mental case) that the speakers have “refused to rule out eating babies”.
Wingnut logic.
Yeah…that basket case was revealed as being a Stormtrumper who was hired by other right wing majini to be there. Nice try, righties.
I’ve found that babies aren’t very good for you. They’re too high fat & no fiber, & after you’ve eaten so many of them, not very filling. Better to stick with chicken or beef.
“Baby Eater Lady” was a “plant” from those LaRouche weirdos and AOC couldn’t dismiss her as nuts because she didn’t want to be mean to someone who could’ve been mentally ill. AOC was “stuck” no matter what she did.
If anything; The Squad and Greta want to make sure we live in a world where we don’t have to “Eat the babies”.
As stupid as this is, and believe me it's one of the dumbest things I have ever read if that were true it would be because we are destroying our world and killing off resources. Which the two of them are trying to stop before cannibalism takes over. So not only is your conclusion wrong and unspeakably stupid in the first place, it also means you really didn't understand their arguments in the first place
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
