Over 30,000 women and children have been massacred in Gaza and all of you are only concerned about Ukraine and the ongoing lies. You fear the US and you fear Israel, you stink of fear. So where is justice? What kind of monsters are you?

Israel has started every conflict, theres no way out, we can go on and on, but the fact is that the genocide of over 35,000 by coward Israel is way out of proportion. Netanyahu will answer to the ICC and the world.

Okay, first of all, both Gaza and Ukraine are terrible tragedies that should never have happened, let alone at the same time. But Ukraine is not a lie, Putin is most certainly commiting genocide there and trying to annex a foreign nation. Plus he’s also turning Russia itself into his own police-state where no independent thought is allowed anymore. Let’s not ignore how every Russian critical of Putin either gets immediatly arrested and sent to a gulag or “conveniently” falls out of a window…
And secondly, while I fully disagree with Netanyahu’s ethnic cleansing of Palestinians (and bombing foreign aid workers), people often seem to forget that Hamas started this conflict by attacking innocent & defensless Isreali citizens, abducting them, torturing them, and murdering them. Let’s not forget corpses of supposedly still alive Isreali hostages are still being found to this day. Plus, you know, Hamas using actual hospitals and such as bunkers is an actual war crime.

Honestly, this is something I and a number of other folks who have been paying attention to both conflicts have noticed with some elements of the left… they rightly point out the atrocities of the number of Palestinian civilians killed yet… are oddly silent when it comes to the much larger number of Ukrainian civilians. While I personally am going to wait before I call what’s going on in Gaza an act of genocide (I’d just call it at worse an ethnic cleansing instead) applying their logic to Ukraine, shouldn’t Russia’s actions in Ukraine also be categories as a genocide as well? I asked because I’ve also noticed that many Pro-Palestine folks are also the same folks who suggest that Ukraine end the war now or that the West should not support Ukraine (either because “we need to spend the money here” types or the outright “Ukraine is a Nazi State!” types), so I’d turn that question back at them since they’ll gladly turn the concept of genocide into a political tool rather than a horrific act it is… Basically, I think jumping the gun and calling anything a genocide before it is found to be a genocide is uncomfortably close if not outright folks turning tragedy as a political tool for their own purposes and then calling out horrific actions done by states against another group.
Sounds like Putin's paradise, where he'd succeed to distract from his war crimes in Europe and Africa by fomenting conflict in the Middle-East. Deja-vu. To independents, it was not a surprise when international courts got involved in both cases, even if their power is limited.
Confused?
