Daemon X Machina joins the list of game series that have become afraid of the words: male, female

They weren’t at first. Both used to stand up for freedom of expression and accurate authentic localization. They used to do Senran Kagura and even helped push for uncensored version of Granblue Fantasy Versus and celebrated that both weren’t censored. But they were targeted by the SJWs because of their defiance.

Then suddenly for Rune Factory 4 we started to see warning signs and became worse in Rune Factory 5. In an effort to appease SJWs by avoiding male female, they pushed for non-gendered equipment, conversations and marriage to the point it broke game mechanics. Then for a dev commentary for Trails of Cold Steel 3 they had further warning signs with some localizers on the team admitting that they changed dialog for being “problematic” (“misogynist”). It was hard to act to gatekeep because it seemed “unreasonable” and “overreacting”, so now here we are.

There needs to be better defenses, but SJWs have too much social power to attack fans protecting the things they love and fans don’t have enough to protect anything. Even record keeping and trying to remember the history of SJW attacks becomes too difficult, and SJW social power lets them pounce and destroy any defenses if the proof isn’t easily shown on the spot.
