The Axis lost the war because of three factors, lack of reasons, lack of suffocate manpower, and low production. All three Axis powers have resource problems throughout the war and in their conquest often jacked resources from the territories they conquered, why? because all three wanted to ensure that they were ‘self-sufficient’ IE they didn’t have to trade with anyone, not that they could given the fact that most of the planet was at war with them now. They didn’t have control over the major resources they needed to fight the war in the first place, which often results in them putting priorities on areas that had the resources they needed to continue their war effort, the Caucuses for Germany for its’ oil reserves, Northern Africa and Mid-East for Italy for the exact same reasons, and Indonesia for Japan, for its’ rubber and oil, the latter of which was the catalysts that led to Japan attacking the United States, the US stopped trading oil with them in response to Japan’s invasion (and ravaging) of China. The other was a lack of manpower, At least for Germany and Italy, Japan was far more stable in this regard but it did not matter much in the end, all three still had issues trying to contend with a lack of men to put onto the field as more and more of their soldiers died on the battlefield, whereas the Allies could, quite literally, throw mountains worth of men into the meat grinder, which was exactly what the Soviets did that ultimately broke German lines in the east, which also means that these lines that the Axis powers had were weak and likely to crumble. They did not have the numbers to fight the majority of the world. The final factor was low production. All three were not quite industrial giants like the US or UK was, Germany was the only one that fit it but the government decided to use increasingly more complex and difficult to produce weapons thinking that would win the war, rather than mass-producing an efficient, cheaper, and easier to mass-produce weapons, the German tanks largely fall into this line, yes, they could take on multiple Allied tanks and win, but the Allies numbers on their sides, the US alone produced millions of Shermans over the course of the war and they won numerous engagements with various panzers, yes, they often lose a number of Shermans but they could be replaced quite easily, Panzers, typically weren’t as easy to replace. the other two nations, Italy and Japan, were different stories, Italy’s industrial capabilities were practically non-existent and had tanks that were treated as little more than jokes, Japan was more compatible but was also marred with resource problems. And once the war turned against them, the homeland was hit hard and the industrial capabilities were brought to utter ruin entirely.
The Axis lost the war because they were not in a position to win in the first place, they couldn’t take on the world and win, no one can. Yet these assholes continue to support a side that lost the war simply because they don’t like another human because of something as minor as their skin color, or culture, or religion, or sex, or orientation, or what-have-you. But it does go to show you that, for all their talk of ‘winning’ the argument, reality shows for what they are, losers who support a lost cause, too bitter to let it go… which can also fit in with the Neo-Confederates too, to be honest… Maybe that’s why they support each other so much, both sides are bitter losers.
