A woman can, and should, say no to alcohol if she feels it will impair her decisions much the same way I should say no if I need to drive home. This is called being responsible and an adult! If I think she's having fun I'm going to keep buying drinks -- she's welcome to decline without me being butt hurt. I don't treat them any different than I do friends that I pressure to drink. We're both going to get plastered, I'll proposition her. If she comes back to my hotel and the next day tries to say I "raped" her because I get her plastered -- bitch please. That's called "regret sex" and it's not rape.

Though I find it strange how our society puts the pressure on men to "ask" for sex and somehow women are assumed to never "ask". Would be an interesting world where women nut up and actually proposition men for a change instead of hiding behind alcohol.

If you take off your own clothes and hop on my dick but never *explicitly* say "yes" to sex, that's not rape. That's you being unable to control yourself. That's you being unable to speak up and nut up and say "eh, no thanks".

That being said, I've never once found myself in that position where someone said no.. things were pretty mutually... excited. Like all over each other, so yeah...

How often this "rape" (by the context of this thread, not pull you in to a back alley rape) happens I question... I've talked to many females -- this doesn't happen as often as feminazi's would have you believe. It's just not that common here in the US.

Peer pressure != rape. If we want to go that line of thinking then we walk down a VERY dangerous path where peer pressure in ANY area can then be changed to some other crime. All of a sudden people need to be PR experts or else someone might "misunderstand and feel pressured".

The most "lying" I've *heard* of is giving the false name and profession. That's.. about it. Why? Because women love rich men. Funny that, huh? When you find out you can't take him for dollars you cry rape... interesting motive you have there. False name well.... it's to avoid the psycho women. Yes, there are plenty out there.

Another great idea here: Do not do peer pressure at all, make room for people making their own decisions without your unwanted input. I’m a heavy drinker myself but somehow I never pressure others to drink when I do, not even my hubbie and he has great appetite for vodka usually. The only “pressuring” I’ve ever done was to tell our friendly couple about the amazing honey notes of a certain ukrainian wine during our dinner double date and left it at that. They did try and really enjoyed it over the meatloaf, gravy and mash.

I was almost going to say “well, actually, that is also rape, just the other way round.”

And can I just say that it’s dickbags like this that make it particularly shitty for victims of female-on-male rape. Oh and the occasional guy that gets accused in the rare regret-after-getting-mutually-plastered scenario. (Which is still different from intentionally plying a woman with alcohol until she is unable to enforce her non-consent)
