I vehemently disagree that we need religion in state affairs but let's roll with your premise.
*do we have an archbishop of Washington D.C?
*I think we have that already; it's called the National Day of Prayer (May 7th).
*I'm pretty sure most people wouldn't argue that marriage is important. And I think the tax code already gives people with kids a break? There might be a limit though.
*Ok, we don't "need" a basketball court or bowling alley but why does the Holy Chapel need to be in the White House? Are we going to expect the President to go to mass daily?
*I'm completely against making abortion, contraception, euthanasia and divorce illegal.
*So we reenact the Hays Code, eh? Are we going to be rewriting the Constitution for all this to happen? And the US is a common law country so we rely on precedent.
*Considering how the Catholic Church stole illegitimate babies on Ireland to sell abroad, not to mention the Turin Babies...
*So what churches are suppose to do already? And considering how Catholic doctor's wouldn't help get a dead baby out of its' mother so she could live , I really don't think this should happen.
*So are we getting the days off or at least double pay? Are there going to be groups of people going around making sure we're all on church on those days?
*Why do we need to proclaim that in a courtroom? We need to get on with trying to determine the defendents' guilt or innocence, not proselytize.
*We don't even want to change over to the metric system because it would mean we'd have to replace all our road signs. Why do you think we'd replace all the signs/pamphlets/websites for all that stuff?
*So we follow international law more closely. Also Washington was a Deist. He's quite famous for it.
*I think Catholic churches already consecrate the nation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
*So in spite of having a ton of Protestant denominations, we'll all because super pious Catholics. Uh huh.
*Not sure if this would work considering we have all sorts of climates and seasons (see Alaska for example. The ground freezes so they can't get vegetables in wintertime). Also food deserts..
*Need more details on your proposed immigration system.
*Considering the stance on abortion/contraception, I will not agree. The Catholic Church doesn't have a good track record on "dignity of women/motherhood"
*I believe the current system is the bishops declare these days to the faithful. Why do we need to change it?
* Overall this would be exclusive to people who are not Catholic/non religious. So all in all, no.
