When one of my daughters-in-law was about to give birth, her doctor advised her to have a caesarian. I told her to believe and recite, “Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance is good!” She believed me and constantly recited these words. The baby was born naturally, with my daughter-in-law in labor for less than two hours.

If they refuse medical advice in such circumstances, in reality it must result in increased avoidable death.

My grandmother is also a Falun Dafa practitioner. One day, two years ago, she fell from the window ledge while cleaning the glass windows. She was sent to the hospital and we were told she had bone fractures. She treated herself as a practitioner and returned home without any medical treatment.

If only Jezebel knew about Fa! What? You forced her to refuse medical treatment?

Soon after I took up the practice, a new Lunyu was published. Grandma encouraged me to memorize this new publication by Master Li (the founder the Falun Dafa).

One wonders how many such publications are released and their cost. I was in a cult with its business centered around real estate and a printing press.

I had another dream where I was chased by a group of people. I climbed over a wall and saw a black car driving towards me. The car stopped and I was captured. He has given us too many things and the best way to repay him would be to do as he told us to.

The next time you have a lucid dream, instead of being scared and calling out for help, you could try your own abilities. You should be able to change shape, fly, fight like in the flying kungfu films, etc.

This is very mind disturbing nonsense, similar to what's found in some other extremist political cults and some terrorist cells. There's a lot of anti-CCP activity mentioned in these posts, but this is the kind of things disruptive to society that the CCP may legitimately be concerned about.

The Fa propaganda claims that it's about health and that it magically heals everybody, but the above intended for alienation and paranoia is clearly unhealthy to the mind. When people come up with such beliefs by themselves, it's usually due to psychosis. And their distorted interpretations are deleterious to their lives, lead them to irrational actions, etc.

So it's not about healing and peaceful meditation.

Why do you need Dafa material if your all powerful master can just appear to you and help? Why can't he help against worldy authorities in a way that you either don't face persecution, or are magically protected against such raids? I sense powerlessness. Why is the whole thing so human and political if it's supposedly ultimately about the spiritual? Why would worldy authorities detect and crack down on innocent people discretely meditating in peace?

IQ tests being subjective, especially when one is obliged to take one, the scores tend to vary when taking multiple ones, especially over time. People who tend to have the highest scores also tend to have the most varying scores at those tests, so may also score surprisingly low at a particular one. It's not your Master who can change that.

So cell phones are bad too in this cult? Likely because they may allow contact with an outsider?

This aroused my curiosity, and I ended up at the home of a Falun Dafa practitioner to listen to a recording of Master Li, the founder of Falun Dafa, teaching the Fa

I began cultivating in Falun Dafa, and strictly adhered to Dafa's core principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance.

Even using the cult's own language, I see.

When younger, after leaving the JW cult, I also checked out other cults and religious literature. I admit that although among other similar things, I didn't know of Falun Gong yet back then. But I was on a sincere quest for the truth. Instead of an angel from heaven helping me out, over the years it's knowledge and rationality that took over. I no longer believe that it's possible for a human to become immortal, even though it's a classic human fantasy.

The emphasis on the persecution complex is particularly prominent in this one. As the cult was becoming prevalent in China, even apparently mirroring the CCP structure with its branches... by 1999 there was a type of crackdown.

But the persecution complex has become part of justifications for everything including to censor due criticism of the cult, including its political activities. It's also compatible with its millenarism.

As many conclude, more evil may not be the solution against CCP evil.

Sure. So you don't really know what you had but it was not chronic. Assuming that the story is not a complete fabrication, the best explanation.

My aged mother had had asthma and suffered from the effects of cerebral thrombosis for years. After she followed my advice and recited “Falun Dafa is good” and “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,” she was cured of her illnesses.

And where are the medical journal articles about that incredible cerebral healing? More extraordinary anecdote by unreliable testimony.

I've known some people in Falun Gong. Nothing indicated supernatural health. In some groups I've practiced tai chi with, some people had serious medical issues and it was a soft group exercise they could still do. Sometimes in public parks someone into Falun would come and inquire about if we also were. We were not and if your story is true, why would they inquire, when also noticing members in imperfect health? You claim that your magic provides that, but such events are evidence that Falun Gong members do not have perfect health.

Then I've heard the same elsewhere. Some evangelicals when preaching to the JWs make incredible claims like: "if you know unhealthy JW people, it's proof that you're not in the Truth and that you don't have Holy Ghost support." Falsely implying that in their particular cult, disease does not exist. It's very easy to go inquire and notice that it's just a lie. If the preacher really believes it, he's deluded himself. That cannot be "the Truth".

Many people in our village have witnessed the tremendous benefits our family has gained from Dafa, and nobody would believe the Chinese Communist Party’s propaganda defaming Dafa anymore.

And this reminds that FG it's also a political cult. Then again, the political disinformation propaganda in Epoch Times cannot be "Truth".

A tube-person literary device for an unrealistic miraculous story. Also there's no mention of the typical hypovolemic shock symptoms. If religious miracles were real, why would those particular people have been chosen when so many died while resorting to the same rituals? Why are there always better down to earth explanations pointing out that there was nothing miraculous? What about when the source of the claim is unreliable? Evidence of the latter is all those similar stories apparently written by the same person... Then as passerby noted, to anyone with a minimum of critical thinking, there are obvious problems with the story's claims.

Then of course, because Falun Gong is a cult centered about a charismatic guru, appeal to the godman is primordial ("Master"). "Truthfulness", really, when confronted to fabulation? Oh, the classical third day of Lazarus.

Where are the medical journal publications about this case? If it baffled the doctors, they surely wanted to understand. You know, the ongoing process of science.

I need a little more than "hell happened, magic worked and we were happy forever after under the Master" to believe.

It had not been diagnosed so we could never know if the presence of a disorder was true, or if it was something benign and temporary that quickly resolved as the muscles gained strength, etc. Just like a personal testimony is not evidence of anything, except for the fact that claims have been made. Return to the mean (many disorders or discomforts are temporary and resolve without intervention) and confirmation bias (human ability to search and detect patterns but hindered by the human vulnerability to fallacies) commonly lead to flawed conclusions about causation. Just like there is no medical evidence presented and no evidence that healing happened supernaturally, there is no evidence that the story is true.

The parrot appeared to be lacking one leg, the leg seemed to be on the floor nearby. Closer inspection revealed that the object was a piece of a plant and that the the parrot was only resting on one leg. But it is PROOF of divine intervention! In fact, the leg had been cursed, so turned to wood and fell off. But thanks to Fa cultivation the missing leg could grow back!

Last week, someone had the flu. They drank some orange juice. This is PROOF that the juice cured them! Especially that it had been blessed with Fa!

It seems that the practice has not cured you from those visual migraines, perhaps the opposite... Demon hallucinations? Perhaps it's not only migraines... It could be due to sleep paralysis or something more serious... The Fa ascended masters visions appear to repeat the Fa doctrine? If it was true, it may be evidence of obsessions or of standard memory recall. So on the Minghui website, you will find everything that you're already looking for twisting a topic for segregation: "video games are worldy too! [firehose of arguments]"? And if you obey well, apparently magic makes everything go better? There is a pattern of control there.

Who told you that? It's certainly your choice to not care about a national event, but this appears to be a little more than that. It sounds to me like your cult wants to isolate you to better exploit you. In the one I was raised in, only yearly Pantecost and marriages could be celebrated. I missed out on being a geneticist cause this brand of science made me fall asleep. It only became fascinating to me once I became a radfem & started digging into the bio-causes of male evil.

A case of "science is boring because it doesn't affirm what I like to hear, so instead I'll use pseudoscientific arguments to claim what I want"? It's difficult to justify the dehumanization of half of humanity using reality-based evidence.
