Scientific advances? Like polluting the environment and inventing cancer!?

Most politicians and religious leaders are members of secret societies. Masonry and the Vatican control the power of the world. These societies and the Vatican practice satanism. They have created international terrorism with the purpose of creating the third World War. They want to make it appear that all conflicts have been caused by conflicts and divisions between world countries and religions to establish a one world government and religion ruled by a leader who will claim to be the prophesied Messiah and to rule by divine authority. They will quote Bible verses to deceive people into thinking this is the Kingdom of God, and they will make all kind of signs and wonders. The UFO phenomenon and New Age Movement have been created for this purpose. This is the kingdom of the beast prophesied in the Bible in which all nations will gather. All people will worship the beast and all true followers of Yeshua will be persecuted. The aliens are fallen angels and hybrids, the gods worshipped by the ancient civilizations. Of course they will present great benefits to the population and they will relase new technologies and promises of peace and prosperity but do not believe them, they are only lying. This will be a fascist government, where all the people will be implanted with mind control chips and the useless eaters put to death. They have planted many lies to keep us away from the truth. God is not of any religion or denomination, because all are controlled and have substituted God because they claim to be the Truth, the Way and the Life. God is in our heart and teaches us individually, we must only understand and do what He commands. The Only Way is Yahshua the Messiah. What the majority believes is always the lie. Where the carcass is (false Christ), the vultures will gather (multitudes). <<<a href="http://www.conspiracyarchive.com/" target="_blank">http://www.conspiracyarchive.com/</a>>> <<<a href="http://www.sherryshriner.com/" target="_blank">http://www.sherryshriner.com/</a>>> <<<a href="http://www.mt.net/~watcher/" target="_blank">http://www.mt.net/~watcher/</a>>>
I was an atheist most of my life, since the age of about 12. After ditching the tooth fairy, easter bunny and santa claus, God was next in line. This was my liberation. I was of the opinion that there was no God, and that all rational people should draw the same conclusion. The only thing that could possibly budge me from my position was EVIDENCE.
Well, in September 2004, I got the evidence. Absolute proof in fact. I got it shortly after I wrote message 666 on the 3rd anniversary of 9/11. Message 666 was the culmination of my 37 years of searching for the words to describe my ideology/religion (as an atheist I was STRONGLY supporting freedom and human rights). You can read about message 666 here (I've posted it before):
<a href="http://antisubjugator.blogspot.com/2005/07/sign-of-beast.html" target="_blank">http://antisubjugator.blogspot.com/2005/07/sign-of-beast.html</a>
However, as you have probably guessed already, the proof that I was given was not independently scientifically verifiable. Which means you have no option other than to dismiss it. Or at most, you can only accept it as a theory. So anyway, here is the "theory":
We are living in a computer simulation, and God is the computer programmer. This model does not require supernatural powers. All it requires is for us to have computer technology more advanced than we have at the moment - Artificial Intelligence for starters. In a 15 billion year history, don't you think it is quite improbable that we happened to be born just when computers, nukes and the internet were invented? And also just when the USSR collapsed opening the way for worldwide freedom. And on a millenium year as well. A mere 1 million years either way would have drastically altered the simulation. Hell, even 1000 years either way would have drastically changed things.
I believe the universe is only a few decades old. God didn't sit around twiddling his thumbs for 15 billion years waiting for us to evolve. The whole thing is simulated. The whole universe is just a "virtual reality". We're probably really on a space ship, and this simulation is being run for entertainment purposes (can you think of anything better than a virtual reality to keep yourself entertained?).
And the reason God doesn't want to prove his existence is so that people will become atheists and be totally free. This is what he wants. He doesn't want to tell people how to live their lives, he wants us to make up our own rules. The only way we can be totally free is if we believe there is no God, or at least, that there's no God who's going to sit in judgement. In actual fact, we are all NATURAL ANIMALS. None of us are sinners. We all act in accordance with our genes, reacting to our environment, and using our imperfect logic skills. None of these things are our fault.
Anyway, my point is that there is definitely an intelligent entity in another dimension to us. So if you're a hard-core atheist, think again, because you're actually wrong (even though I can't scientifically prove that to your satisfaction). You need to update your model and allow for the possibility of a God, and convert to agnosticism instead. BTW, a computer simulation gives a logical reason why we can't reproduce life from raw ingredients - the properties are defined in software, which we don't have access to.
The very fact that he [George W. Bush] has to say something like this ['I know what I'm doing'] 1) shows us how interesting the times really are and 2) is a political consequence of brooking liberal cowardice and intellectual dishonesty in time of war.
People need to stop worrying what Arabs think and start worrying about how to kill them before they kill us.
Slapping a name on a phenomena only gives dull people the illusion of perception. Call our minds what you will, consciousness (which for all I know resides in my big toe), not my brain, is a spiritual function that speaks of The Word.
atheist's preoccupation with masturbation... I have seen enough of a commonality of responses on this forum to be genuinely curious.... Do folks become atheists to justify self gratification? or is it just a by-product?
rofl.. What external source does an athiest actually have to give advice on? Im befuddled.
[After the thread is moved to the junk forum]Well, I'll be...this is not considered serious enough for GRD [General Religious Discussions]? I am confused...
Your prudish notions not withstanding, life has everything to do with sex. In fact, the best one-word synonym for life is 'sex.'
[Replying to "Any person who has lived can give advice on life"]Yeah,... is that right? As soon, as atheists start telling other atheists how to live their life they are basically establishing and perpetuating a religion. 'This is my ideology, and it would be in your best interest to follow it.'
When I was in Ireland this year it was quite clear that the Northern Irish are not fans of President Bush. This seems to stem more from the fact that President Bush and Prime Minister Blair are friends who are working together more than anything else. Conversely, I did not hear anywhere near as much negative about President Bush in Scotland. So, the conquered drunks don't like our president and the unconquered, non-terrorist Scots do. Druken terrorist types vs proud defenders. I think we have a commonality of feelings here.
[Replying to "How old are you?"]mid-thirties - and I have seen references to the act in so many threads that there started to seem to be a correlation, so I thought I would start a discussion to (no pun) flesh it out, but, oh well... Try a thread search just on the word masturbate, none of the derivations... Showing results 1 to 40 of 338 ...again, interesting...
You don't seem to understand that life only comes from life all the way back to the Author of life. Every living thing alive today has physically been alive since the very beginning of life.
The fact that one-celled creatures act exactly as if they were thinking conforms to the notion that neurological brains are not required for the process we have dubbed 'thinking.' You jealously hole up in that last bastion of human arrogance, insisting that you and only you have abstract reasoning powers because of your lousy 4 pound glob of gray matter when all along our brainless God and His angels thought more thoughts than mankind can hope to remember.
[Derailing a thread on a support forum]Its no joke! Atheists are not prepared to give advice on how to live one's life.
Based upon the above, all the examples you gave of potential life [viruses, self-replicating molecules, etc.] would not qualify. Ditto for the chicken hearts scientists have been keeping alive and pumping these past 60 years. Ditto for stem cells that are multiplying as we speak. However, stem cells were alive when they were freely rearranging themselves as the unique human being they once were (that dull humans could not yet recognize).
To do what those entitites do requires the power we perceive as our abstract reasoning capabilities. Those one-celled entities simply don't do their thinking with synapses but via touch and chemicals. But what they do is problem solving, trial-and-error thinking all the same.
[Replying to "Do you have an example of something alive and sentient that doesn't have a brain?"] "An aomeba. And with its missing brain it decides to move away from salinity and the light. (Kinda like you guys. Maybe you should make it your mascot.)
The best metaphysical definition of a living thing is a freely acting thing. Any thing that seems to exhibit free will seems to be alive. Itâs that simple. Hence, my fingernails are not alive. For their activity is purely mechanistic. But my fingers are alive, for their activity is unpredictable. They might continue to resign themselves to typing this message, or give up and go play the piano, or reach out and slap you. One can never tell, not even I, what my fingers will do next.
Do you think I believe in what I believe simply because I'm told by other people? No human has ever influenced what I believe. God exists.. I know this, but God is too wise to allow me to present evidence for it.
[Replying to "Show me something that demonstrates these abilities (consciousness, sentience, abstractions) that doesn't have a brain."] "Paramecia will change their shape in an attempt to get around over under an obstruction. If their shape changing proves futile, they will stop trying, and 'decide' to swim somewhere else. Your white blood cells 'decide' to attack foreign bodies and can get 'fooled' by naturalized citizens.
Also, this usually makes me think the bible must be true, as why would people argue so vehemently against that which they feel confidently is untrue? Thankyou for increasing my faith.
I decided to give you the benefit of the doubt, so I checked it [the huge <A href="http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/comdesc/">'29 Evidences for Macroevolution'</A> article at TalkOrigins] out. Now, you tell me why that page gives only opinions and no evidence. All it did was proclaim evidence. Using things like...'The honest scientist, like the philosopher, will tell you that nothing whatever can be or has been proved with fully 100% certainty, not even that you or I exist, nor anyone except himself, since he might be dreaming the whole thing.'LOL...not honest ones, but bias atheistic ones trying to cover their a$$, yes.Or... 'There is so much evidence in support of this [people evolving from whatever] aspect of primate evolution that it qualifies as a fact by any common definition of the word 'fact.' No facts. No references to support these supposed facts given as opinion. In 'fact' many of the claimed human fossil bones that supported such dribble have been proven to be fakes or hoaxes. And any found genuine human fossil remains have contradicted the theory of evolution. Many of them even taken out of museums to save embarrassment.
Is the question 'What would I do if God told me to do it? or 'What would I do if a 'voice in my head' told me to do it?' You seem to have collapsed the two questions, and they are not the same. As to whether or not I would be concerned, I would be very concerned-- I wouldn't find it easy to kill a person, but, if God told me to do it. But this isn't all that significant, is it? I can imagine being told by my father that I must kill someone, and doing so, because of the trust that I have in him, and in his concern for my well-being. I assume that many feel the same way about their parents and about their spouses. There are people who have faith in certain other people who will act on this faith, and there are people who say they have faith in another person, but really don't, and, of course, there are people there are cowards.
Only those who oppose the President so vehemently that they would rather put Adolf Hitler into power will be voting for [Democrat John] Kerry.
[On the Iraq prison torture scandal]I honestly do not see what is wrong with it. They soldiers wanted information from them, and the Iraqiis had no right to withhold it.
Many of the atheists today are a result of the very thing Bobinius claims of religion. The Big Bang 'Theory' and the 'Theory' of Evolution, for example, are taught to our children in schools all across the globe, and are passed on as fact. When in fact, there is NO 'evidence' to support such theories. Don’t get me wrong, I love science. It is mankind’s search for truth. But I will not stand for someone to pass off theories as fact.
During their month of mourning, they [female war prisoners--whose families were killed--taken as wives by the Israelites] learned that the hebrew society was far superior to the former societies that they had been raised in and knew that it would be ideal to raise children in such a situation.
[Replying to a sarcastic "The Official Atheist Handbook takes no position on Jesus' sexuality"]You mean there is an official atheist handbook? So it has become a religion...thats incedible. Sorry about that last post, it just kind of steamed me a little. My brother tried to stop me. I guess Vinnie is so infatuated with the idea[of a gay Jesus], because he himself may be gay. I wasn't thinking of that. My appologies.
If the question is 'If God told me to kill someone, would I do it?', my answer is 'Yes!' But, I am not sure this addresses the point of your post.
You atheist types are such hypocrites. Anytime a theists says something they believe, atheist say, 'but it doesn’t say that'. But when they pull some cockeyed crap out of their hat to ask a question as absurd as 'was Jesus gay?' they want to twist stuff every which way they can. And even still you have others thinking he was married. 'But—but—his mom told him they were out of wine at a wedding. It had to be his wedding.' 'Well—well—he was Jewish, and most Jewish are married.' 'But, Mary Magdelen hung around him a lot. She must have been his girl.' Puullleeeassee. I swear, you atheists will do anything to pervert the truth. And you wonder why you are despised by most of society.
I’ve heard all that [from TalkOrigins], I’m a big science buff. Although I doubt you will find the evidence to support those theories in a forum. Opinions? Butt loads. Evidence? No. Out of the many arguments, carbon dating is what’s most referred to. However, Carbon 14... has a trusted accuracy of just over 10,000 years (kind of funny about that huh?) And it is 'assumed' accurate up to 50,000 years. If you hear of carbon dating into millions of years, you are hearing a very confused and illogical report. Even still, nobody can prove carbon dating to be accurate... [And] I am quite well aware of the meaning of Theory. Maybe you should try to learn it.
Oh good, so you do understand what a theory is. Now, stop letting people tell you that something is a fact and a theory at the same time. Evolution is not a fact. It is a hypothesis.
Do you mean 'Why would I kill the person?' If so, the answer to that has been given--' Because God told me to!' or do you mean, 'Why would I do what God tells me to do?' Before I respond to this latter question, I would like to ask the following of you. Is your questioning here generated by the fact that you would not kill if God told you to, and are you, as a result, simply going to keep asking 'Why do that?' or 'Why is that? (or something like these) to every answer I give?
I would like to think that I would be able to 'argue' with God... (Always bothered me about the Abraham story, didn't argue over his son, stood up over a 'godless' city. Weird.) But for all I know, if I've picked the wrong God and an new one showed up and told me to murder, I would do it to get in its good graces. Before you all haul me off to the looney bin (at least not for this) I guess my point is that the gods I generally see depicted is too small. If the God of the O.T. is looking my direction, I would probably not live. This is NOT an entity to be trifled with.
Homosexuals assert that they are 'born' homosexual. If true, this is obviously some sort of defective genetic mutation... Further, since homosexuals, by nature, cannot reproduce, which aids in the survival of the species, why should any rights be granted them period?
No, genocide is the killing of a group because of WHO they are, God only destroyed tribes because of what they had DONE. All the tribes around ancient Israel were semitic so it was plainly not genocide or racial in nature.
BTW, wicans and pagans consider themselves 'corrupted' and want to corrupt others too. My son is a professed pagan and this is what he has told me.
I have to admitt to not looking at this particular fossil and studying it as much as I should to be commenting on it. I did do a pretty close look at it in a museum one time and it looked a little fake to me at the time.
Since they were destroyed for what they did, ie rebelling against the king of the universe, and preventing his representatives, ie israel, from acquiring their land. So it does not qualify as genocide. Unless you are going to say that capital punishment for all murderers is genocide of murderers.
Humans intuitively know about God in the same way chickens instinctively know how to peck. It's part of our nature. That's why atheism is intellectually an unnatural act... If your children lacked the imagination to have invisible friends, that’s too bad.
Unbelief is a moral issue because all humans know that the true God exists and deserves their worship so to deny it is being dishonest. Though of course years of denying Him can push this knowledge into the subconscious so that they can actually convince themselves that they do not believe he exists. Also the Nazis belief that allowing jews to live is immoral is just a subjective belief based on their own hatreds while the ancient hebrew belief that unbelief is immoral is based on the objective basis of God's moral character.
No, it is not irrelevant, given that according the scriptures, 'the wages of sin is death'. Therefore, God was meteing out justice on the Canaanites, Amelekites and Egyptians. Meteing out justice on evildoers is moral especially if you are the judge of the universe.
It is the responsibility of real men to care for, shelter and direct their women. Women just don't have the capacity to do what's right without the guidance of men. Too many of America's men today are fagatized, so they don't stand up like the are suppose to so as to lead society!
[On the EPR paradox]Both the electron and the positron can be measured at places so distant from each other that no signal passes between them - its too far apart for light to travel that fast. Yet after the fact, we find that if one was spin up, the other was spin down, properly cancelling the other. How do they do that? God is a possible answer to that question. Perhaps quantum mechanics actually requires God in order to work! He functions as the great bookkeeper of the universe, seeing that what needs conserved is conserved across all time and space.
Now...I have never seen a UFO, but I have heard supernatural voices, in the presence of others. I have felt some powerful stuff which I suppose you may claim that any hypnotist could duplicate. I want to believe, and you want to disbelieve. Perhaps I, and most theists like me are mentally ill. If so, so be it. There is a 1% chance that the supernatural world of a Monotheistic God an an Angelic/demonic war is real, also.
[To a famous paleontologist]You say theres no evidence for a flood. I say this is bovine feces. That statement has been made so many times on this forum I couldn't count them all. Yet I see lots of evidence for a flood. I can see, I can reason and I think much of this falsehood is an illusion of facts. Heck lets look at 'fossilization' the very thing that makes up your study. Are you completely aware of how fossils are made?
[Replying to "I am offended by the word 'fagatized'"]GOD is offended by sin. I suggest you repent of your heathen ways before GOD & ask JESUS to forgive you and cleanse you.
Are you guys for real? Do you really think YOU, mere human beings, can prove that God is not omnipotent? Or is this some sort of mind game to promote the illusion that you're omnipotent? And you wonder why you can't go to a heaven that HE created? Do you know how many variables that you're leaving out? Do you even have a clue? Do you think that no superior reasoning exists beyond your own minds? Your first mistake is your premise that God cannot prove God. He has to me! Whoever thought of that statment was a human being who is trying to think his wisdom and logic are superior to God's. God will definitely show him that he does NOT run the universe.
