I’m not certain what you mean by “being gay,” but same-sex attraction disorder in men is induced by the trauma of a molestation or seduction in the pre-adult years.

As with other trauma-induced disorders, not all who suffer the trauma develop the disorder, but no one develops the disorder who did not suffer the trauma.

Trauma with the same sex parent will predispose to being gay, but not opposite gender parent. Codependency with opposite sex parent can predispose, if a masculine mother or feminine father. I’ve found in several lesbians that the predisposition was merely due to behavior validation of being gay from birth.

In my research I separate intellectual attraction from emotional chemistry attraction from trauma attraction. There are sometimes multiple attractions. Sometimes it is merely peer presure and group identity validation when the child goes to college.

I’ve worked with several hundred gays on a one to one basis and thousands through group workshops. It is a complex subject as it is consciousness related and not genetic.

I try to read/review all new published research on this topic. Most of it is garbage.

There is, factually, and quite naturally, no such “transition” from one gender to another. Discuss WHY she would have this impulse. Is she a tomboy and told that those are signs she’s a boy? Cultivate those interests without the delusion. Does a parent wish they had a boy and are pushing her in this direction both to “have a son” and / or get social activist points?

Girls with Aspsbergers are being diagnosed as transgender at several times the rate of anyone else because their mindsets are more toward the mechanical and technical, less social. Not feminine enough in behavior and empathy? Instead of saying tomboy or Aspberger, they say you ARE a boy. And children in that mental frame are susceptible because they don’t know how to argue it and tend to go with the expert unless they ARE the expert in a topic.

Support the normal daughter in this, and back her up when she feels pressured to go along with the delusion. Love on her, let her talk to you. You’ll probably learn a lot of horrifying family dynamics that may be driving this, the same way kids act out when there is a family dispute.

One thing that may happen ... the girl is only 13. She might not be in her ‘rebellious’ stage yet. It happens to all teenagers whether we care to admit it or not :-).

If she sees her sisters picking up all sorts of guys, she’s going to know she could too. That might snap her out of it :-). I think there’s a decent chance of that happening ... especially if the mother conditioned her to think this way. Mother is going to regret it.

You should also say something to the kid in private if you can ... act like you’re interested in what she’s doing. You don’t need to torque the mom off ... just get a feel for what she’s really thinking.

It’s certainly true that a lot of this nonsense has crippled society mainly due to people being quiet. However, speaking your mind doesn’t necessarily mean you have to address it point blank and piss off the liberal. Do it passive aggressively by acting 100% opposite the mom would think you would act. Try and get a feel for what the girl is really thinking ... try and relate some of your teenage year experiences to her and give her a feeling that she might miss out on a lot of stuff.

Our family received shocking news. Our niece- a beautiful 13YO identical twin girl- Natalia, has decided that she wants to be a BOY. However, her family is celebrating the news.

Natalia is now to be called 'Nace' and she dresses as a boy. We have been warned (threatened) we must use the pronouns--him or he. And it's so much worse because she has an identical lovely twin sister, Olivia. Olivia is a very feminine, modestly dressed, normal appearing happy-go lucky, girly-girl. Natalie and Olivia are naturally life-long best friends.

This is being culturally normalized and may strike a family near to you.

The family lives out of town and they are arriving here tomorrow to 'reintroduce their twin daughter as a their son -'Nace' to the extended family. Fortunately, her grandfather- my dear dad- is deceased. (Natalia was named to honor our Dad- Nathaniel.) Our mother, whose now senile with dementia, is still cognizant enough to be upset and is completely bewildered at this news.

We are deeply saddened and worried for the twins. I'm not sure there is anything that an out of town extended family can do to help. We want her to feel loved and not rejected. We will pray to God to change Natalia's heart and for Light to enter this family. Unfortunately, we suspect that her mother has been encouraging and supportive of this oddity. They talk about 'how brave it is for her to come out!' She has told Olivia- 'He's a hero', be proud of your new twin brother,... blah, blah, barf.

My brother has already warned my older siblings to tell me to keep my mouth shut. I intend to be welcoming and show love and compassion for both twins and not to discuss the elephant in the room. It is important that this child does not experience further alienation from her own family. But I can't fake any type of congratulations or praise for her choice.

The research on transgendering is quite disturbing. Natalia will be 25 times more likely to commit suicide if she continues on this path. She is inviting tons of social trouble into her world and her twin sister's life. Especially, because she is very pretty, Natalia does not look masculine. My brother stated that Nace is going for counseling. I suspect it's to advance her transition, not reverse her course. If they begin testosterone hormone treatment, she risks: an inflamed liver, increased red blood cell counts and other negative hormonal effects. Her hormones & blood will need to be monitored for the rest of her life. It's unfathomable that any parent would allow this.

My Sis-in-law is a typical New England liberal loud-mouth witch who has been very inclusive of her lesbian friends in their family functions and as the twins' babysitters. SIL relishes all things freaky, strange, weird, and bizzaro and is proudly very "progressive." My brother and his wife are well educated, sports minded, working parents that started a family in their mid-40's. The girls have been educated in an upscale suburban public school with karate, softball, soccer, & swimming lessons. However, the twins were always dumped into the extended school environment (7AM-6PM.)

About two summers ago, my brother was proud to announce the girls were going to church camp for 'sex education.' But it was not to be VBS (Vacation Bible School); it was a Unitarian Church. I tried to warn him of their reputation, but he hates my conservative opinions and swore me off. I have to wonder what part that indoctrination played in Natalia's choice to reject her beautiful body that God had created.

We knew that both girls, but especially Natalia, had some development delays and is likely in the mild Asperger Spectrum. This social awkwardness may have been what steered her into this gender dysphoria encouraged by her mother and the latest progressive LGBT agenda.

Also, my SIL has always played one girl off of the other, and seemed to favor Olivia, named to honor SIL's deceased father, Oliver. We have noticed that each parent is typically paired off separately with one of the twins and they were not being treated equally or fairly. SIL manipulated and controlled when each girl could speak. SIL is a loud, over-bearing, controlling and heavy handed mother and person. OTH, my brother has no backbone and his domineering wife has always worn the pants.

We are deeply saddened and fearful for both Natalia's & Olivia's future. At Christmas 2016, Natalia was a thin attractive shy girl with lovely eyes and a beautiful smile. I pray that she is not too far gone into this abyss at only 13 years of age.

It is not about not “loving” “gay” people.

Yeshua commanded us to love our neighbor as ourselves and even to love or enemies. So the issue with many devout Christians is not about either love or hate in considering “gay” persons themselves.

While Yeshua commands we love our neighbor, He also commands that we NOT love sin and that we rebuke sin; even as He acknowledged we have all sinned and we all sin.

The argument is then NOT about Love, it is about how is Love exercised.

To the devout Christian it would not be “loving” the “gay” person to either honor or accept the sexual lifestyle of the “gay” person.

Christianity is not about “hating” a person, it is about hating sin. It is hating the act committed not the person who has committed it.

The social problem is that the Left is not part of working for or honoring a truly diverse society where our greatest recognition of Liberty is the right to disagree.

They MUST portray devout Christian positions as regards “gay” persons as “hate” because they have no answer for the kind of Christian Love that is behind those devout Christian positions.

We should love gay people, but which is more loving:

- telling people tempted in that direction to ignore the disease rates among those who engage in gay sex, telling them to ignore scripture, and telling them there is nothing wrong with engaging in those actions even though those who do have extraordinarily high rates of depression and suicide, or...

- showing them the joy of following God’s word, leading by example as we turn difficult decisions over to the All-knowing, and embracing those who accept God’s sovereignty over our lives with the pure love of Christian brotherhood?

Utterly predictable. First they normalize homosexuality by declaring that they are "born that way" and hence any judgement anyone might make is the same thing as racism or sexism. Because they didn't choose it, they can't change it, it's just part of who they are you see. Once judgementalism is considered more shameful than behavior, anything goes and here we are. Gay everything in the USA now.

But take that argument forward, what about pedophiles? Is that a choice? I don't think so, either they are made that through abuse or they are born with deviant urges but either way they are mentally "off" and they didn't consciously decide to go that way. So can you judge them?

Well, I say hell yeah and with prejudice if they act on those deviant urges in any way (porn, abuse, whatever). But by the logic already established for gays, of course not! In fact, to NOT defend pedophiles would actually undermine the "born that way so can't judge" zeitgeist they've created. Gays must, eventually, actively support and defend pedophiles.

It was only a matter of time.

That's not generally what happens. There have been numerous studies that support the hypothesis that homosexuality is the result family dynamics... the most common being that male homosexuals were raised by a domineering mother and a weak father who never spent time with his boy whereas female homosexuals are the result of a dysfunctional mother-daughter relationship. If this backdrop is present when perverted circumstances arise during sexually formative years, the result of a sexually perverted individual can almost be predicted.

Over the years, I have met a number of women who claimed to be lesbians and heard their stories and it seemed that all had a common denominator of sexual abuse at a young age. One day I met a young lady who told me she was a lesbian to which I asked her "so at what age was it when your mother's boyfriend started sexually abusing you?" I knew nothing about this woman's history or her parent's marital status so my question was going way out on a limb... but she replied "I was 12."

The simple explanation here is that what is referred to as lesbianism was triggered by a disgust, hatred, fear, rejection of all men based on perhaps what just one person did... but in a sense going back further, the root of it all had to do with the fact that the absence of parents with a healthy relationship created the circumstances. Are there homosexuals who came from a family background which was ideal or as close to ideal as possible? Sure... but those are far and away a minute exception and it may just be that there were serious problems, they just happened to be hidden.

Homosexualists keep pushing the “born that way” idea because, from a homosexual activist point of view, it is politically advantageous.

However, if you do enough research into the psychology behind homosexuality, you realize that, for the vast majority of people afflicted with the condition, the theory is easily disproven.

Just like with “manmade global warming” they can put all the “evidence” in front of you and dress it up nicely so it looks convincing, but, unless you want to be a useful idiot, it is best to ignore the tainted mental feast and seek out your own facts.

I have done quite a bit of research on the root cause of homosexuality over the last couple of years, mostly to satisfy my own need to refute the “born that way” claim because that just didn’t make sense to me. I have read exact cases of what you are talking about. There are also plenty of people who site situations of bullying when they were a child. Weak, late developing children are a prime target for this from classmates.

Without an adult role model who is aware of the danger and knows the signs to watch for, the kid has no one to turn to for guidance. Combine that with our destructive mainstream cultural attitude that being gay is somehow desirable and it is no wonder that we have confused people sliding into that dangerous lifestyle.

Dr. Joseph Nicolosi was an amazing, positive force for good in the area helping homosexuals who want to heal and live normal, heterosexual lives. He, unfortunately, passed this spring from the flu, but he had a team of therapists he’d personally trained who are carrying on his work.

Beginning in the late seventies, queers became "cute" and/or especially smart and enlightened people featured in a lot of movies and TV shows, often with all sorts of subtle apologies and excuses for them thrown into the shows.

What this society champions or makes look kewl becomes more common whether it's rockers making drug use look kewl sitcoms and ads making Valley Girl teenagers look kewl, or stoner guys look kewl.

You can see that reality in American culture starting all the way back with beat nicks and copacetic being on the Dobie Gillis Show. Between then and now, parents have grown to accept that level of influence on their children while at one time they fought it.

Parental responsibility has gone from an enforced "stay away from X they're a bad influence", to the shrug of "whadda ya' gonna do" if they even know who their kids hang out with. Therefore, the final authority on what is right and wrong or good and bad is more often than not decided by whatever big media shovel out, not the parents.

Young Americans have been trained to be little mimes of whatever the establishment media machine dictates, period. Make being a queer wearing a Kotex in your butt crack look like a good way to be considered hip and worthy of attention and you get more of them, it's really that simple. No genetic or magic connection required.

Imagine that we pass laws to prevent off spring of mothers/grand & great-grand mothers based on government available records that are electronically available. I am sure the major drug corporations kept records of those who took their medications.

Now that we know the consequences, we can have a stealth program giving the GM (God) drugs to reverse the homosexuality with hormones.

This article is personally interesting as my youngest sister is a militant homosexual who was on hormone treatments in 7-12th grades. After marrying and having two children, her antisocial tendencies and a lousy husband worked to turn her into a sterotypical female homosexual - ugly to the point no man would touch her thus driven into the confort of others of her ilk. Sorry for the crud annology but this article strikes a chord.

Art Looney is missing the point. Stand during the National Anthem, with your hand over your heart, respectfully and then PLAY BALL! I don’t care that your spoiled snowflake millionaire team members come from all backgrounds. During the Anthem we are ALL Americans. If you can’t do that one simple thing, then GTFO.

I had the same kind of “see it from our point of view” crap in the one “multicultural” course I had to take in order to get a degree from my college in 1990. The normal kids in class will play along and laugh about it back in the dorm. That’s what we did...

Homosexuality’s now formal endorsement will lead to more people identifying as such and as bisexual. STD rates will go up until the next pandemic literally goes viral ... and there are antibiotic resistant strains already circulating in the LBGT community. Transgenderism will pop up in full force within six months, leading to mentally ill men gaining full access to women’s facilities in a few years. Women will be pushed out of women’s sports by mentally ill men. With “marriage” legalized, it will become illegal to criticize it unless you’re Muslim.
