I have seen the trailer for Fourth Kind and thought it was demonic. Anyone remember the film (and book) Communion about Whitley Streiber's experience? Very demonic. The character in the movie who is Eastern European immediately recognizes 'the event' as something that has happened in the past in the old country - perhaps reminiscent of ghosts, vampires, werewolves, witches, etc.? The 'adversary' has an answer for every age we live in - now in the 'space age' we get demonic activity in UFOs to keep up with the times!

There are sites all over which openly promote atheism. PZ Myers has his "pharyngula" blog. There are websites for American Atheists, Council for Secular Humanism, The Friendly Atheist blog, etc.
I find it disheartening that people are going online and learning Darwinists' arguments to reject God instead of reading about the Bible, but at least the people seeking out those sites know what they're getting. They've already chosen to reject God.
There are also some sites where people pretend to be Christian in order to mock God and turn people from Salvation. A homosexual crossdresser makes the "Betty Bowers, America's Best Christian" site. A so-called "comedian" created the "Landover Baptist Church" website; while it's over the top and a pretty obvious gag, there's also a discussion forum (at .net instead of .org) where atheists pretend to be pastors and flat-out lie about what the Bible says to make people hate God. And there's "Real Bible Stories", which appends commentary to Bible stories to make children think God is evil and "unfair" for being holy.
I'm sure members here have run across other sites like these, probably even worse?
Is there anything we can do about them? I realize that persecution comes with being Christian, but this isn't just persecution. It's a concerted effort to promote Satan's religion, atheism, behind our backs!
I'm looking for software so I can block them on my home computer; my niece uses it sometimes and I don't want her finding them by accident. I can also convince my sister (her mother) that these are hate sites that she should also block. Is there already a Christian net filter available that blocks things like this?
I don't know what else to do to slow these people down.
Obviously I can witness to my niece, I mean in general, to help those who don't know about these wolves in sheep's clothing. It's not like we can force their ISPs to put big disclaimers on the sites.

Healthcare will open (check that -- "blast" ) the doors of freedom down. The government will effectively control every aspect of your life with gov't healthcare. Its no exaggeration.

Thie weekend, my niece got married to a fine young Jewish guy (nothing wrong in that). The 'Officiating pastor' was non-denominational and during the service, there was NOT ONE MENTION OF GOD. Not even a hint of reference of any kind to the same. Not even during the exchange of vows, or rings. God was 'kicked-out' of the very institution of marriage that He established. This verse in Matt. kept running over & over in my mind. I even asked my young teenage daughters before the Reception this Q: "Who was missing during the ceremony?" They both told me that they said to each other during the ceremony, the God was not mentioned, or even eluded to.
During the Reception, the first song was a Jewish song in which they all formed several layered circles and danced around. And then they put the bride and groom on chairs and raised them up and down over their heads for a few minutes as the music played. Then they did both sets of parents. I know this is probably a Jewish custom, or ritual; but the feeling that I got is that I was smack-dab in Ceci B Demil's Ten Commandments, when they were making the golden calf and all the dancing and partying going on.
I thought to myself that if the rapture shofar was sounded right then & there, I would never have heard it for all the noise and 'partying'.
I do wish my niece and her new husband the best, but the elimination of God (and His blessing on this marriage) really did sadden me.

I was messing around on youtube and found a guy who claims to be "The Amazing Athiest." It was nothing but the same recycled ideas that people have tried to use for centuries. His blaspheming was ridiculous when he equated "Caffenated Donuts" to a reason "G-d cannot exist." I was set back...
The problem is its people like him who have been brazen enough to show their faces that will draw in more of the youth. Such a pity that something that could have been a man made gift to help people became a tool for the wicked. Just another reason the world may have been a better place without the internet.
These sites are satan's greatest successes over any cult he established. Young people discuss Christianity with others, go home and Google for answers, finding nothing but atheist answers. I've never seen such an onslaught

In 1996 we were expecting our now 12 year old. To me it was no secret that paganism and the occult were deeply wrapped up in children's toys, music, tv, comics, cartoons, and movies. As a result of my long time Biblical and outside research I wrote a letter to all family members that instructed them on the limits of gifts, celebrations, activities, and possessions that would be allowed. It was rather extensive and obviously stepped on their toes; especially in areas such as Santa, Halloween, The Easter Bunny, and very popular movies/cartoons/toys.
Over the years I've flexed just enough to allow Star Wars (but only after he was at an age to still enjoy the good guys versus the bad guys while being trained that Zen Buddhism and the host of other anti-biblical themes were wrong and off limits) and a very limited few other things. Even Batman/Superman has so much of the occult that it is largely off limits. Virtually all Disney movies of the past 15 or so years are steeped in the occult and false religion. And our beloved cartoon viewing is down to just a very few left (we don't get Boomerang).
But the good news is that he is fully aware, growing in the same discernment I have, and very understanding and accepting of the awesome responsibility we all share in our choices and exposure to these things. Reading God's Word and applying it to countless contrary worldly things is certainly a full time job but it has been very rewarding and doing anything less would have left him in a cesspool of spiritual deception and attack. I praise God that he has given me this child and the talent and desire to discern the times to protect him now and equip him later.
I don't know how California parents continue to tolerate and allow their children to be subjected to this evil! Are parents not standing up? Why is that every time Gov. Arnold is signing some bill to recognize homosexuals and the lifestyle? All I can say is that I am so glad I don't live in California. If I did live there, my children would not be attending the public schools.

I had a similar experience with my x-husband. He was counting on the Catholic Church and the Virgin Mary to save him, although like your wife, he never went to mass either.

He divorced me, married someone a LOT younger (who is a Mormon!) and he's left the Catholic Church. The last I heard, he's saved now, but his wife is still a Mormon...talk about "poetic justice!"
I have no problem disrespecting Obamarx. I have no problem calling him names because it's an outlet for the tremendous anger his policies and ideology incite in me. I have no problem reconciling my disrespect for him with my Christianity.

This is another tactic unbelievers use, they try to claim there better educated or something, the truth be told there actually indoctornated instead of educated nowdays, its sad they don't know the difference.
I think that this recent "obsession," if you will, with all things 2012 and alien and apocalyptic is a sense, seemingly felt by the whole world, that SOMETHING is coming. Maybe this is an unconscious response by the world --they don't know why, but they know that SOMETHING is fast approaching, and it feels like the end of the world. This suggests to me that perhaps the spiritual chess pieces are being placed for the End of Days, the game is being prepared, and the whole world is sensing that SOMETHING is afoot. The warfare is being prepared in the invisible spiritual realm, some skirmishes are already occurring (as we can see evidenced in today's events), and because we cannot fully see into the spiritual, we can only feel its effects in the "natural." As Christians, we know what the SOMETHING is, but the rest of the world as a whole only senses it in a vague way.
As Shakespeare said in "Macbeth,"

To me, America is Camelot in the 20th-21st century. It's a great, astounding country that has followed the ways of Rome, Britain, and even Israel for many decades. I agree that America is not to be idolized, because anything in the place of God is evil, but I am telling you that America became so great because of God. If America was not great, then America would not have been so blessed.
Our God blessed America because we made a great Covenant with him. The old Constitution was that Covenant. We've been breaking it for decades and the consequences will be swift and severe, but I'm positive that America will live on like Camelot did. Even if, the Lord doesn't come for centuries from now (Just giving a hypothetical example) and archeologists find nothing but obscure stories and poems about America, it will always live on in my spirit as a gift from God.
To me America, as an ideology is so Judeo-Christian, that I will be saluting my flag in Heaven after I get done bowing to Jesus, just to remind me a second time of what Jesus gave to me. First, Jesus died for me so I could be saved, but he gave me the gift of being born in America with all of my meager wealth at the same time he died for me. So I could go to Church without persecution, so I could pray and have a Bible without persecution, and so I could speak my mind to the government instead of being it's slave. The fact of the matter is, Jesus'es 1st gift to me was Salvation, but his second gift to me was America, and that's good enough for me.

I saw that, and my heart broke for him (Glenn Beck). I prayed out loud, "God, help him" as he was choking back tears, looking for words. I believe he is absolutely sincere in how he feels and what he says. You can tell he really has a heart for his country. I feel the same way. He just puts words to how I feel/he feels. Plus, I'm a "nobody" and he is a well-known TV face/personality. Where nobody would likely listen to me, he has a wide audience. Maybe God is using him in these last days to try to wake people up from their Kool-Aid stupor. I pray it works!!

The reason for this is more interesting than you would think though... the scientists are hoping that if there is water it can sustain a moon colony, so that astronauts can launch research on the many fossils from earth that are undisturbed on the moon (Yes there actually is a lot of matter from earth on the moon).

So today at work i was watching foxreport on fox news and they were talking about how religions/the church are doing their part to reduce H1N1 spread by doing such things as not handing out communion and not shaking hands at the door and such.
It was a pretty "meh" report like all the other H1N1 stuff flooding the airwaves lately till the very last line the reporter delivered. He said and i quote, "Looks like this one is going to take more than prayer"......WHAT??!?
I let out a shocked half laugh, half gasp. What more is there than prayer? What more is there than G-d??
