I am a person who believes in a god. In my life I have experienced many super-natural, odd things proving to me there is "something more." But even if the bible is all fake, what is the point of being an atheist.
I'm a person who believes in a god but still "sins" daily like everyone else. Now if there was a god, he would realize that EVERYONE sins. As long as you live your life "trying to make the world a better place" rather than being a rotten person committing murder, making it a worse place, you would get into heaven.
Becoming an atheist to me doesn't make sense because I would live my life no differently, and in the end if there WAS a god I would be ****** completely by denying him. If I just accept there is, i have at least a chance to get into this "heaven" rather than guarantee absolutely nothing.

There already is religion in the public schools, it is called atheistic evolution. Evolution is a religion, a belief system. They don't dare allow creationism to be taught side by side, then the thinking children will see how ludicrous evolution really is. Evolutionary thinking teaches our children that they came from nothing, are here for no reason, there is no one whom they are accountable to and go nowhere when they die. Is it any wonder why they take drugs, seek escapism, kill other kids and themselves? They teach them they are animals and we are surprised when they act like it.
Oh, by the way, the Bible does not prohibit public praying, only when someone prays publicly in order to gain recognition for themselves, wrong motives. Perhaps you should actually read the book before commenting, and not pick and choose passages that you think you can use to support your faulty philosophy.

Question about Evolution?
Humans and other primates have evolved from a prehistoric ape(s). In this case, us and the primates would have lots of connections with each other. And if that's true, shouldn't we be allowed to be engaged in sexual activities with other primates?

Atheism is like racism in that they are taught and not natural philosophies. We as Parents teach our children racism and atheism. A child is born ignorant of skin color and that there is a higher power. Both of these learned philosophies not only hurt a child mentally but retards them socially.
The reason I lump racism with Atheism is because they are both unnatural and learned processes of thought. Both go against what the majority of the world believes or follows. They also tend to cause the child to grow up with a deep resentment of their parents and society. I was also curious what the status of these names were among the larger black community? Do these "African" names belong to only a minority of the population? Are the people who have those names looked down upon? Don't these parents realize that the hideous name they give their kid will be on the top of every resume/job application they ever send in? Her teacher told me she "modeled compassion" for others. Her sister is very caring and her issue is displaced africans. She volunteers and literally gave every dime she has for "Invisible Children" which helps those less fortunate in Uganda. Little brother Jack is a philanthropist. For two years he volunteered helping an autistic boy, who was 4 years younger than him. Teaching him how to interact with others, etc.
And yet --- all of my children have come home in tears many times. Told they are going to hell. They acutally are very honest people but they have learned to lie about their most basic beliefs because "I don't believe in god" would kill them socially in a school.

How do I save my son's soul from the going to The Bad Place(H*ll)?
Yesterday, I was washing my 13 year old son's laundry and one of his socks was stuck together from the inside. Needless to say, he must've engaged in b*dily behaviors that are unbiblical.
