Man could not have authored the Bible. We know that the Bible is authored by God because it foretells the future with 100% accuracy every time. No other book in the world has 100% fulfilled prophecy. This shows that it comes from the mind of God. Man would not write a book about how his God whom he loves and worships gets crucified. Man would teach that we get to God by our good works. The Bible is accurate from Science, Archaeology, Prophecy, Unity and Morality.

It might be irrelevant for me to say this, but at this point I feel the need to. I used to be very condescending and offensive towards the religious, but becoming an atheist gave me a new respect for religious people. They have also made a decision as to which side of the fence they fall on and, while religion and its communities can sometimes be an aid that I do not have access to, religious people also have to negotiate their lives with the additional complications that their belief system brings. Often, they have to ask themselves some serious questions while performing a task I myself wouldn’t think twice about.
And then there’s arrogant twats like this. A fairly ordinary fundie by the standards of what’s usually quoted on this website, but still not the kind of person I would ever hear talking like this in real life. I’ve often wondered to myself why I persistently return to FSTDT. Being an atheist I can’t say “There but for the grace of God go I”, but perhaps it’s because the fundies, like the incels and the fantasists like Colonel-Knight-Rider, are reflections or caricatures of what we all have the potential to become had we been less fortunate.
Man could not have authored the Bible. We know that the Bible is authored by God because it foretells the future with 100% accuracy every time. No other book in the world has 100% fulfilled prophecy. Even if the Bible had supernaturally prophecy (which is NOT the case), that does not mean that its source is what it puports to be. Perhaps the writers astrally traveled to some realm of knowledge that they perceived as communication with Jahweh according to their cultural expectations. Perhspd the entity behind the Biblical prophecies has no powers beyond precognition, telepathy and longivity, pretending to be a god for some reason or another. Perhaps it is even in truth the Devil who is the mastermind behind the Bible - using his immortality, superhuman intelligence, cosmic knowledge, vast supernatural power and mastery of manipulation to actively fulfil the prophecies hr himself made and revealing knowledge not available to mortals in his greatest deception - impersonating God and turning the mortals to turn away from Creation and reject the senses, reason and intellect endowed to them, instead devoting themselves utterly to the book of his lies…
Man would not write a book about how his God whom he loves and worships gets crucified. Man would teach that we get to God by our good works. Throughout history, time and time agan, even to this day, people have 1. fallen for charismatic men who claimed that they, and they alone, offered the solution of the material and/or spiritual problems of their followers, 2. believed wild claims their saviour or rumours made of any number of supernatural powers and feats, including even being God incarnate, and 3. went into denial when their false Messiah inevitably died, his promises unfulfilled, claiming that he in fact did not truly die but instead ascended/returned to divinity, where he continues to fight from a higher plane of existence, and awaited his imminent return that would bring about Utopia until their deaths, and even then, their children and their children’s children and their children in turn waited, and their distant descendants wait still, invested in a false hope that will never come true. Thus, the claim of Jesu martyrdom is not, in fact, extraordinary and entirely consistent with Jesus being a mortal preacher whose cult survived his execution, believing that this was all part of his plan and that he had arisen from the grave and returned to Heaven.
The Bible is accurate from Science, Archaeology, Prophecy, Unity and Morality. Hahahahaha, no.
Man could not have authored the Bible. We know that the Bible is authored by God
...so your 'God' put pen to paper/fingers on keyboard and wrote out/typed the whole thing, proofread ('Omniscience ', lol), sent the manuscript/Word files to the printers: who then bound such in a cover with the words 'Authored by God'? At least "On the Origin of Species", "A Brief History of Time" & "The God Delusion" have on their covers 'Charles Darwin', 'Prof. Stephen Hawking' & 'Richard Dawkins' respectively. So show us one example with the word 'God' as the author on such: with the proof that he did; after all, within such - 1 Thessalonians 5:21 - it says 'Prove all things'.
because it foretells the future with 100% accuracy every time
The fundies' - and therefore 'God's - choice Donald Fart infected by Coronavirus. Chapter & verse.
We'll wait, Deaniepoos.

I would more say, the fundies' choice is quite necessarily the choice of evil, if we are going by the bible.
The bible shows Trump to be the closest thing on this planet to the antichrist that has ever walked upon it.
Pestilence, war, famine, and death are out in force these last four years. A deal has been made with Israel. The liar has been wounded by the sword he lived by.
Lots of religions teach that, when it comes down to it, your devotion to that religion, sorry, “close personal relationship”, is ultimately more important than how good you are. And how does the Bible teaching total depravity prove it was written by a supernatural being? There are plenty of people living right now who are misanthropic.
Oh right then, please explain this one? It hasn’t happened in the 2000 years, since then.
Acts 1
9 After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight.
10 They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them. 11 “Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.”
Confused?
