Leaving this up since it's high karma, but the entire world needs to have a good look at vaccines. I'm not quite sure how they work but putting things like that in your body cannot be good for you when herbal remedies have worked for thousands of years.
People need to start thinking for themselves and stop blindly trusting so called "masters of medicine".

Herbal medicine works only within a limited scope. Modern evidence-based medicine, on the other hand, has been increasing our life spans more and more, has found cures to many diseases once uncurable and ensured that very few children and young mothers die, tragedies once horribly and heart-rendingly common.
Analysis, extraction and synthesis of medical plants allows for reduction of side effects by identifying the ingredients that are the actual active substance and more precise dosage than the highly variable content in medical plants, including those with very narrow tolerance such as Digitalis .
And then, there is Aristolochia horribile dictu , is still used, as a traditional herbal remedy by cultures aroumd the globes despite being VERY STRONGLY CARCINOGENIC AND NEPHROTOXIC - as it takes months to years for the effects to occur, the toxicity was only discovered with modern systematic methods of research.
Oh, so you want to be like those old people who have been crippled since childhood, from polio? Or the people who were smallpox sufferers, in the old days, scarred for life - if they lived? What you said; “putting things like that in your body cannot be good for you”, I’m sure some people did say that about penicillin.
Herbal remedies are OK, I like a good herbal tea, to cure insomnia or stomach problems. However, for more serious health issues, thank the Goddess for modern medicine.

Think of your body’s immune system as the police force for your body, catching bad guys (germs, viruses, bacteria, etc.)

The thing about herbal anythings is, they usually have to be digested before they can do anything, and a lot of their medicinal elements, if any, are destroyed by the process. Vaccines go right to work because they’re injected right into the bloodstream, no digestion needed.
