For starters that actually gets punished and the attempt to suggest that black people more frequently victimize white which is patently false is not only a pathetic diversion to avoid the issue and create a manipulative narrative but would also change nothing and excuse nothing. In the case of police violence there are additional elements of abuse of power and doing the exact opposite of their job by terrorizing and victimizing the community with the tacit or even explicit approval of those meant to hold them accountable to the law they’re supposed to represent.

Imagine if you could have gotten out of chores as a kid with that kind of shitty logic. “Hey you keep telling me to clean up my room but we don’t talk about the dishes so often now do we?”

Recognizing and upholding, through force of law if necessary, the basic human rights of all persons is not a zero-sum game wherein the simple statement "black lives matter" is a threat to the statements "white lives matter" or "all lives matter."

Are these people being disingenuous, or are they really just that dumb?
