Well as soon as the rapture occurs things will get much better.

Personally, I'd keep any kid I have unless they have a really bad medical condition. I really hope to be a good parent once I do have kids. I'm pro-choice because I think women are capable of deciding things for themselves and don't see how it's any of my buainnes to be involved.

Wanting a safety net for people who are poor or who fall on hard times is not wanting a mommy state. And to be completely honest, I'm probably fairly conservative on this issue. I'm not all that supportive of wiping out student debt for example.

I don't watch SNL. And atheists can see when something is a joke and reason out why they're against it.

Very few people are in denial about this. What they consider the problem(s) varies from person to person. We're pretty good about admitting our country is shitty.

(Completely disregards that atheism has nothing to do with lacking a moral code and that fanatical adherence to twisted moral codes and the belief that one is acting in a service of a Higher Purpose that justifies the means were historically linked with the worse atrocities)

* has so-called “Family Values™” that are so utterly twisted that it beggars belief, wanting to enforce a facade of wholesomeness to make it easier to deny to themself how screwed up their own family is, and. despite their efforts of othering single parents and sexual minorities, actually alienates THEMSELF from decent family persons instead.
* is in favour of a dog-eats-dog world where the poor are left to starve and the rich have no responsibility towards society, despite being in total defiance of what Jesus preached and despite bashing atheism for supposedly being psychopaths who believe in Survival of the Fittest.

* is in denial about how it is, more than anything else, they and people very much like them - authoritarian, aggressive, self-righteous and selfish through the self-deception of adopting the identy of an agent of a Higher Power, embracing comforting lies and the illusion of certainty over living in and dealing with reality - who are responsible for the world being as screwed-up as it.

Yup, religion is control of the masses, men’s control of women’s bodies especially.
(Consume very little, except food and beverages. Don’t like porn, don’t watch TV on late nights.)

Weak and strong people believe in gods. Few people are EITHER weak OR strong, most of us are a bit of both.

Gods don’t exist; at lest there is no evidence for the existence of any of them.
(Haven’t studied that much philosophy, but religions are fun to study.)

Much horrible stuff has been done in the name of religion over the 40-something-thousand years modern man has existed.
Few horrible things have been done in the NAME of atheism.
Lack of beliefs does not correlate to lack of morals.
More often it's the opposite: NSDAP had quite the moral code behind it, and they are usually at the top of the list, when “worst atrocities” are discussed.

Is pro-choice because everyone knows best whether or not they are able to be good parents at this time in their lives, so it's rather to MAKE SURE that most kids have reasonable parents.
No, want us to all contribute and help each other, cooperation rather than selfishness. If we all chip in a bit, we can all get more things cheaper.

Is anti-violation-of-human-rights because that harms people.

Society is falling because there’s a fascist wave going over the world, and we have managed to almost destroy our environment. We really-really need to do something about the climate crisis NOW, but too many people are in denial, yes.
