Of course, Tucker Carlson is absolutely right. The phrase "white supremacist" has become the Left's equivalent of the term "commsymp", used sixty years ago by McCarthyites to smear liberals. ..the McCarthyite mentality is reproduced by progressives.

Why, if someone reported that, while walking down the street at night, they heard footsteps behind them, turned around ... and were relieved to see that the people behind them were white .... the Left would label that person a white supremacist. But of course everyone now reading this would have the exact same reaction.

Thanks for demonstrating how racism is often so ingrained in and normal to racists, and racists often so lacking in self awareness, that they don’t realise that they are racist even when they blatantly are.

There is nothing 60 years ago about communist smears. Communist sympathizer are now often replaced with marxist and socalist but the right still uses them heavily.

The scenario that you describe would be more accurately described as racist or prejudicial rather than white supremacist.

That assumes that the “someone” in front is white. But of course you assume that. Only whites count, right?

What if the person in front is Black or Latino and the person coming up behind is a white Bubba wearing a MAGA hat? Should the person in front be “relieved”?

And in 2021 while the left does over use the term white supremacy the right is far more liberal (pun intended) with the word communist.
