I genuinely don’t care about Ukraine. No. Really. I don’t. They want to fight, and Europe is willing to pay the tab for our arms deal? Fine, let them fight to the last Ukrainian, and we can play war profiteer. A lot of it is stolen Polish land anyway. (Look up the “before” and “after” on Poland’s borders after World War Two. Somehow, Poland moved West.) I’m at the point of wondering if we can’t give Poland back their land, and then we nuke everything East of Poland, maybe up to Beijing.

I’m not sure if I’m an isolationist, but everything I know about history tells me we should let Europe clean up its own mess for once.

So, looking at it as a historian … screw Eastern Europe. Nothing good has come out of there since Franz Ferdinand was killed. (If you don’t know who Franz Ferdinand is, look it up. It’s a long story.)
