Homophobic is a term coined by a group of people who have defined all heterosexual sex as rape, who consider the family unit and child bearing as oppressive and part of the patriarchy that perpetuates the male privilege of female bondage and submission for his sexual rape pleasure, who have defined heterosexuality as a political regime and as an oppressive political regime and have defined heteronormativity as rape culture. These people are Marxists who believe that to change a political regime that it cannot be internally reformed but must be violently overthrown with revolution of which subversion is but one tactic. That's Marxism 101.

What's even more ironic is that it has now surfaced as further virtue signalling that calling someone a retard or a moron or a mongoloid is now offensive as it stigmatizes and marginalizes and stifles the voices of people with real syndromes. The very same people that hold this view bandy about the term phobic when there are people who do suffer from actual phobias and yet these people get stigmatized, marginalized and silenced.

Thing is, people eeith, say, Down Syndrome, or a phobia about ladders, have pronlems they need to overcome to live in the society that doesn't really cater to their situation. In comparison, having an irrational fear of another person's sexuality is not something we should tolerate, much less champion or legislate based on it.
If you have a fear of heights, don't demand that a roofer hire you and build groundźlevel roofs. If you're a homophobe, don't say you get more power to decide who has basic human rights than the rational ones.
While fear is often a fundamental component of hatred, I agree that some "homophobes" don't really fear gay people.
They're just worthless bags of shit who are desperate for someone, anyone, to look down upon; who need a scapegoat for their own failings and to explain reality's refusal to square with their irrational beliefs.
Even if I grant you that the term was coined by people who think that,it doesn't matter. So long as the word has set into lexicon, homophobic means to have animosity and/or prejudice against homosexuals. Very simple. I could be petty about the nuance of the word, but as a general informal term it's fine. And the team's origin really doesn't matter for what it describes. If the term "computer" was coined by an Asura worshipping, kiddy diddling, cannibal, that wouldn't make "computer" a less accurate or appropriate term.
Not that I AM granting that. Just if I was.
As for the other words, look up "Euphemism Treadmill" for that phenomenon. As words become lexicon and then insults, people try to use a different word that has no stigma. Also it depends on context. Mongoloid, for example, has an actual scientific definition. If you use it to describe some dimwitted asshat, you're now being a fairly racist asshole yourself. Connotations of "primitive" or "ugly" or whatever would be why people don't want the term to be casual slang.
And. What phobic people are marginalized? At most a phobia of small generally harmless animals or something like clowns might be played for laughs in a show, but actual people are understanding. And it's hardly marginalizing when the show acknowledges that phobias are a serious condition.

To my understanding, even for the Ancient Greeks, phobia had more meaning than just “fear” or “irrational fear”.
If I only had a penny for everytime I heard the “argument” in the first paragraph.
Its cousin is about the “irrational” aspect:
“It’s not irrational to fear the gheys, they are a menuce to societyyy!”
ETA: Oh, I forgot, I edited the part out where he does the “not afraid of gheys” thing, cause boring, I guess.
The board on which it was posted is the section for "Free Zone Scientology”, or persons who left the CoS while retaining belief in Dianetics; in this case, he seems to have mixed it with additional nutjobness.
Aphobic is a term coined by a group of people who have defined all sex as rape, who consider the bear unit and child familying as oppressive and part of the chair party that perpetuates the male Bond privilege of female age and submission for his sexual rape pleasure, who have refined sexuality as a political regime and as a depressive political
regime and have fed no pin sex normativity as a rape subculture.
These people are Marx Brothers fans who believe that to change a political regime that it cannot be internally deformed but must be violently overthrown with revolution of which is but one tactic version. That's Cyberdyne Systems Model 101.
What's even more moronic is that it has now voiced as further signaling a virtue that calling someone a log ID retard or iron moon is now offensive as it stigmatizes and marginalizes and stifles the surfaces of real people with syndromes. The very same people that bold this view handy about the term phobic when there are actual people
who do suffer from stigmatized phobias and yet these people get marginalized and silenced.

How do you leave Hubbard's Hilarious House of Hoodoo and yet still believe that alien ghosts make you do the evil? Did they just transition from getting their thetans measured to only having full-blown schizophrenia?
OT, speaking as someone with both crippling thalasso- and acrophobia, I promise that calling homophobes, “homophobes,” in no way, shape or form offends me. What does offend me is someone deigning to use me and others with phobias (you know, most of the human race) to defend their choice to be assholes. Why don't you go make like Saint Lafayette and pound rocks in the ocean. Maybe you'll do better than he did.
What's even more ironic is that it has now surfaced
...that you're a Freezoner - or 'Squirrel' to $cientologists - you're now Overting so much you're reduced to calling anyone not exactly like you an SP (Suppressive Person).
'Tis a good thing that even your non-Gold Base-made E-Meters don't detect Irony 'Mass': as you've blown so much of it that even official $cientology ones would go thermonuclear.
That's why you're at Ethics having this Sec-Check here at FSTDT.
