I killed the dog…
I did a terrible thing a couple of days ago after finding the dog rolling around in his own shit and piss, everything was a disaster for the umptienth time… I lost it. I was enfuriated beyond reason, and in a blind rage I beat him, might have broken a couple of legs. Then I stuffed him in the garbage can, picked up the trash bag, tied it, walked it outside and threw it in the dumpster. It was a really cold night… The next morning the garbage truck picked up the trash… he is gone.I feel slighty remorseful since I have always loved animals, but enough was enough. We are all going to be better, less stressed out, cleaner, happier, etc…

We are all going to be better, less stressed out, cleaner […] You’re always going to have the blood of the dog you murdered on your hands.
For some reason, this reminds me of the woman from the north of Croatia who was recently found to have murdered her own sister in 2000, then kept her body in the freezer for 19 years. While the rest of the killer’s family lived there.
Here’s the news story.
Could be a movie:
Someone does this to their dog.
In the following couple of months, do they imagine it or are they repeatedly visited by the dog’s ghost?
I don’t know what to make of this. Quite likely it is a troll, for “I did a terrible thing” “beyond reason” “blind rage” doesn’t match “slighty remorseful” “We are all going to be better”. And he’s talking about a dog here, not a kid (which would draw police attention to his post).
I say it probably didn’t happen… but maybe that’s just me hoping it didn’t.
As someone who once had a dog that I loved more than some (okay, more than some) humans, I only have to say this: pleasebeatrollpleasebeatrollpleasebeatrollpleasebeatrollpleasebeatroll…!!!! Otherwise, pray that I never find you.
Yeah, like everyone else, DO hope it’s a troll, if not, holy fuck, what an utter monster.
@Menomaru
I'm starting to think we're going to need a "Holy shit, a regular if disagreeable person but not the far end of evil" award in the future for how plentiful and how extreme the psychos are becoming. Nobody's "just" an asshole these days because that doesn't raise even one eyebrow, there seems to be a compulsion to take it as far as humanly possible and then a few steps further. That's our new normal. There isn't a lunatic fringe anymore it's spread from the edges to the core and there's no longer a solid baseline for what's genuinely beyond belief.
This is absolutely disgusting. Even if this is a troll... I've started to tear up thinking about someone doing that to a dog. And if this really happened, well, if I typed what I'm thinking right now, it would be pretty disturbing, so I think I'll keep it to myself.
I hope it’s a troll; If not, this guy can be traced and Animal Control will say “Hello”.
And really; People online boasting about doing awful stuff! That not the sort of thing one does when they want to impress people.
It’s like those weirdos who kill someone then post the aftermath on Facebook/Tumblr/Instagram/whatever. It’s like they’re screaming, “HEY, COPS! ARREST ME! I WANT TO ROT IN A CAGE WITH A BIG SCARY GUY NAMED BUBBA AND EAT NUTRILOAF !”.
Antisocial Personality Disorders makes you stupid, sometimes.
******
For those wondering what the heck a Nutriloaf is….
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nutraloaf
….It’s a gross-tasting but very nutritionally-balanced “loaf” that is fed to inmates (particularly if they’ve been disruptive).
@Passerby : Blind rage and calculated disposal don't quite follow so naturally. Neither does remorse and dismissive justification.
Normally, someone who kills in a blind rage will then go about their day normally after repressing that incident entirely (even sometimes if the corpse is present), or flee the scene, or panic and call for help. That being said, there do exist people whose response is a calm “welp, that was dumb, how do I cover up the crime?” such people might feel regret at their own stupidity, especially if they get caught, but will almost never display remorse - they’re either repressing it or not capable of it.
Of course this person might still be making it up for attention, but sadly, it’s plausible.
This guy should try confessing on 4Chan! He’d ASSUME he’s among kindred spirits but….NOPE!
For all their B.S. they at least ADORE critters and go after guys like the OP BIG-TIME!
Well; At least the old 4Chan did.
@Zinnia
I think it's entirely possible that they're gauging the reactions of the forum, seeing which of the statements they react more positively to: either feigning remorse and blaming a moment of emotion that doesn't match his described actions or justifying the act with hints at prolonged frustration with the animal. Testing to see which argument might work better if they're ever caught since they don't truly understand the thought processes of others. It's not uncommon behaviour from diagnosed psychopaths, posing hypothetical situations to those around them to get an idea of what they can do with minimized reprisal.
I have an elder dog who regularly poops and pees in the house, especially if his allergies get bad or there’s some reason he doesn’t want to use the dog door (it’s raining, it’s dark, he’s tired, there’s something leaning against the wall a full five feet from the door…) and I have often had to fight down my anger. Sometimes I even want to hit him, for a brief few seconds. But I go in the other room, take a deep breath, and calm the fuck down. I would never actually hurt him. The day I lay a hand on him is the day I will completely lose my soul.
Confused?
