Rev. Matt Walsh #pratt #dunning-kruger #racist #conspiracy angrywhitemen.org

A small group of white South Africans recently arrived in the U.S. after being granted refugee status[…]To defend that move, Daily Wire host Matt Walsh claimed that Afrikaners are the victims of racist violence[…]

Walsh played a clip of MSNBC analyst Richard Stengel describing the history of South Africa’s unequal farmland distribution, and how Black South Africans were “moved … off of the arable land.” Under South Africa’s Native Land Act, only 7% of arable land was allocated to Black South Africans[…]
He also disputed the false claim — often parroted by white nationalists — that there is an epidemic of racist violence against white South African farmers

In response, Walsh called Stengel a “lying piece of garbage” and falsely portrayed him as calling for violence against Afrikaners as a “reasonable punishment” for the “supposed sins” of their “great grandfather(s)”[…]
After quoting a working paper about poverty and unemployment in South Africa from the Center for International Development at Harvard University referred to post-apartheid South Africa as a “disaster zone”[…]
“In South Africa, post-apartheid, people are awarded positions of power based on their skin color,” Walsh claimed. “This is a far more extreme system than apartheid, which literally meant separation. This is something else entirely. This is a system that says if you’re not white then you get to run the power grid and the trade policy and every other vital function of the country”

Walsh then displayed a chart from the South African Institute of Race Relations that was titled “South African race law through the years”

“As you can see,” he said, “it shows that South Africa today has more laws involving race classifications than it did during apartheid. Only these laws are targeted now at white people specifically, and the country has become even more dysfunctional as a result. So in — by every measure, South Africa is worse today than it was under apartheid. By every measure”
