(just kidding, I slaughter the males because if you let them get too numerous and too old they will try to rape the females to death. There have been times I had to slaughter males even when I had a 10 to 1 ratio because one scrote animal picks a favorite female to torment. Also the females just aren't as good for meat unless you are talking something like a hog.) Unless he's a bird of paradise or some other sort of animal where the female can just outright reject your sperm, the moids of the species are just obnoxious, parasitic terrorists. I personally wish some sort of apex predator existed that would occasionally pick off the worst of the human frontpoles.
