The Genesis Flood is a myth. There are many ancient cultures that have records of just keeping on living undisturbed throughout that supposed period of completely drenched Earth. Either it was never meant to be taken literally (most probable; people have always told each other stories to teach important lessons), or they just meant that THEIR world was flooded, everything THEY knew of was under water. Most people at that time lived along rivers, so floodings were part of everyday life, and some floodings were larger than others. After the worst ones, it probably felt like everyone had died, all animals were gone, everything was destroyed, and they had to pack whatever they had managed to save in a boat and go somewhere else.

When they ousted the Christian Bible from schools, they followed the constitution. That religious text should not have been “insted” in the first place. Either all religions are to be represented, or none of them. In Sweden, we decided on the former, the US decided on the latter. Sweden is now one of the least religious countries in the world, while the US is one of the most overtly religious countries. It’s almost as if it’s harder to push mythology onto people who have extended knowledge, than onto people who have little or no prior info on the subject.

I for one am FURIOUS about this! I'm not an American, I'm not even of childbearing years, but taking away women's rights to their own bodies, making living women have less rights to the body than dead women have, is the gravest crime against humanity that I can think of. I saw a video a couple of months ago, with trans people sharing the experience of having being treated both as men and as women, and that women definitely had it tougher. In that video, there were both white and non-white people, as far as I remember. They spoke English, so they were probably Americans or English people.

How could it have been learned? Who taught them? Their parents are usually in shock and refusing to believe it when they first hear their child saying "I'm not a girl, I'm a boy" or "I'm not a boy, I'm a girl", or “I’m not a boy nor a girl”.

It's not something they believe, dearie, they KNOW it, usually from a very young age, that something is different about them. All signs point to them being born with it, whatever "it" is. Brain sex and body sex apparently develop at different times during gestation, and in rare occasions, the sexes of brain and body don't match. There are also the people born with neither XY nor XX, but with another combination, and there are those who are born with XY but never changed from female to male in the womb (we all start out as female, that's why boys have nipples too).
