I knew I wanted to be female before I'd ever had a single sexual urge or seen any porn. I knew I wanted to be female before the Web even existed and before I had learned the word "transgender". I wanted to be female because my brain is structured like a female brain even though I was born with a penis. I guess I should say I was a girl even though I couldn't really accept that was a possibility until a little bit later thanks a few cool transwomen on the relatively young WWW when I was in middle school. You should leave psychology to the psychologists instead of buying into every half-baked transphobic fantasy you hear because it confirms your ignorant prejudices.

Being able to pass as a woman would be nice. Actually, I personally lucked out in this regard as even though I'm taller than the average cisgender woman I am not particularly masculine in a lot of ways (my Adam's apple does not visibly stick out thank Glob) although I think some of my facial features are too manly for my tastes. Now, for various reasons I haven't yet been able to take hormones or get any surgeries. But I'm still a woman even if nobody else sees me that way. I'd rather be seen as the crazy guy wearing a dress than keep pretending to be the normal man I never was. Thankfully society is becomming more accepting of trans people, and I am less afraid of being open about my gender than I used to be. People like the OP will one day be marginalized relics of the embarrassing past. If people like him think I'm crazy I can't really care. You guys don't get to define my gender anymore.
