I see the inherent absurdity here, but it's kind of all we can do. The social media platforms on which the creeps hunt for victims are DESIGNED to provide them with targets. They don't just victimize kids, but everyone who uses them.
For some reason, society decided to let the pedophiles and stalkers who run these platforms do whatever they want. They even control their own "oversight committee"! Until we decide to force social media companies to act in their user's best interests, all we can do is criminalize the pics.
We could have built facebook to be a safe place for everyone to connect with their friends/family. That isn't what investors, engineers, or management wants. Twitter made an AI child porn generator ffs. Everything is the way it is ON PURPOSE, none of this is accidental/incidental. This is how they WANT their platforms to function.
