i made this post awhile ago on another board, when i saw this thread i just had to share it:

People are burnt out on hearing "Jesus is coming soon", because they've heard it for decades, despite the contrary. That being said, it only further perpetuates the truth by making men's hearts cold and and hard against God. That being said they refuse to acknowledge a few historic truths:

The Dome of the Rock is in serious disrepair on the temple mount, and has been in iminent danger of collapse for the past few years. Jordanian engineers have been working on it since '05.

Two red heifers have been born in Israel within the past 10 years. (Maybe three?) Both have had blemishes and thus been disqualified, but prior to their appearance, none have been born in Israel for over 2000 years.

The Holy Half-shekel has been around since 1993/4, mentioned in the book of numbers.

Two cornerstones for the third temple have already been made, according to biblical standards, and have been brought to the temple mount every year for quite awhile now, led by the group Temple Mount Faithful.

The Sanhedrin, the group that convicted Christ, was re instituted '06.

Isaiah 17 is more real now than ever, and syria knows this apparently, seeing as how they have moved all their important documents out of their own capitol.

The unimportance of the US on the worldstage is steadily climbing, and will probably end fairly soon, as the oil markets move from the dollar, to the Euro, or some other currency. (China, Russia, Venezula, and Iran are already doing this actively) Thus, making Israel's dependance on the anti-christ much more probable and necessary.

Oh, then of course there's that whole 2012 thing, which some believe may be the 6th seal in the book of revelation.

And then of course you have the 12 Imam around the corner, with iran wanting war to break out in the Middle-East so he can show up. The Al-Mahdi seems to fit the persona of the anti-christ quite nicely.

So, with all this in mind, how can this NOT be the last of the last days?

Yes this add campaign is very sad indeed, but to me it has a twist if you read the words as they are presented. ( There is probably no God ) now that to me reads that as they have used the word ( probably ) that they have not got no ever could get absolute proof for there claim. So going off that little fact I think that if it is read as its presented, there add means absolutely nothing at all. They are saying there is probably no God, but any believer could answer that with, but you can not be sure as you as stating probably. Therefor it can also be stated then using there own logic, that there on the other hand could probably be a God & so to carry that on. If there could probably be a God, then it stands to reason that if there could well be a God, then its a good idea to accept him as such.

To me its Pascals wager all over again, for those who do not know of this here it is. ( Pascal wrote:

"If there is a God, He is infinitely incomprehensible, since, having, neither parts nor limits, He has no affinity to us. We are then incapable of knowing either what He is or if He is ... you must wager. It is not optional. You are embarked. Which will you choose then? So as you can see by reading this wager, the adds that have been placed by these people mean nothing at all, but by using there own logic against them. They are in fact making the point that therefor there could probably by a God & if that is the case it puts you in a better position to believe in him than to not. As if you do believe in him you have everything to gain, but to not believe in him, you have everything to lose.

Sorry for this its just the way my mind works at times, kind of twisted as such. But it works for me!
