Biden gloating in his “Dark Brandon” video yesterday as he has his primary political opponent arraigned on more bogus criminal charges just screams “banana republic”.

Weaponizing the federal government against MAGA Republicans is going to have dire consequences at the ballot box in 2024.

…Biden is not some “dastardly, cackling, moustache-twirling, saturday-morning cartoon villain”, Lauren Booboo. People like that tend not to exist IRL, and if you cannot tell the difference between RL and cartoons, then maybe you need an appointment with the nice men in white coats.

I mean, as much as I hate Trump and think he’s evil incarnate, even I acknowledge he’s a 3-dimensional “human” (and I use the term loosely) being rather than a one-note cartoon character.

“Dark Brandon” is an indirect backfire; it started as two separate edgy pro-Trump memes, “Dark MAGA” and “Let’s go, Brandon”. Then somebody on 4Chan combined the two and the result caught on better than either of its parent components. Biden embraced it because it overshadowed “sleepy Joe” and “inappropriate Joe” and also made him look badass to younger liberals. Of course they’re trying to turn it back around with “absolutely not funny” and “see, he admits his evil” as if they wouldn’t embrace this sort of thing if it worked to make Trump look badass. Anyone else remember “I am the Storm”?
