Atheism.
The idea that there was once absolutely nothing. And then nothing happened to the nothing until the nothing magically exploded (for no reason), creating everything and everywhere. Then the clump of exploded nothing magically rearranged itself (for no reason) into self-replicating bits which then magically morphed into dinosaurs... And MY beliefs are mocked?

Jackass that’s not what Atheism means… it’s just a person who doesn’t believe in gods at all, it does not have to require beliefs to be apart of the club and besides that, you’re blatantly mischaracterizing actual science with your horseshit…
honestly, Christian beliefs just seem really egotistical to me, I mean, you’re basically proclaiming that you’re special because God has a ‘personal relationship with you’ and ‘lovingly created you in his image’ which in turn means that the universe more or less revolves around you granted this is southern version of Christianity but it seems to be a common theme with other Christian sects around the world.
The idea that there was once absolutely nothing. And then nothing happened to the nothing until the nothing magically exploded (for no reason), creating everything and everywhere. The Universe (which is not the same concept as the Known Universe, mind you) is defined as the totality of all that is, all that was and all that will ever be. Thus, there is no Nothing “before” ot “outside” the Universe - the Big Bang (note that this phrase was originally coined to mock the concept - by a scientist who believed that the Universe is eternal, mind you, so it is not accurate) is the beginning of time and space as we know it, and it was not an explosion, but the start of an expansion of space-time.
And of course, all of this happens for “no reason”. Obviously, ultimately, you will inevitably arrive at some point where nothing remains but brute facts that cannot be explained further. But it see it as far more reasonable to assume that these brute facts to be Existence itself (in a philosophical sense, not necessarily a concrete universe) and the fundamental laws of reality (and both, I can easily accept as transcendent) than “an omnipotent amd omniscient force simultaneously omnipresent and beyond the universe that has no beginning and no cause (even though everything else needs a beginning and a cause - hooray for special pleading!) that nonetheless is sapient and personal, indeed, human-like, and not only is it still active now, it is obsessed with the personal details of the lives of ephemeral individuals of one of countless species one a single planet in this incomprehensibly vast universe”.
Then the clump of exploded nothing magically rearranged itself (for no reason) into self-replicating bits which then magically morphed into dinosaurs... This is Not Even Wrong. No point in explaining it if your conceptions are so deranged.
And MY beliefs are mocked? Yes, because clearly, your beliefs are completely uninformed.
Creationism.
The idea that there was once absolutely nothing. And then nothing happened to the nothing until the nothing magically spawned omnipotent gawd. Then the gawd, after millions of years of sitting on his ass doing nothing, suddenly decided to create a single, flat world in the center of the infinite cosmos. Despite being omnipotent, gawd needed a whole six days (when time was not even thing yet) to build it. Gawd populated that world with beings formed “in his image” (somehow) for the sole purpose of worshipping him for an eternity. While the beings were granted free will, they would be punished with eternal torment if they would ever act upon said free will. And while gawd created evil and sin as well for no reason, he despises it and torments anyone who falls victim to the ilness of sin because of his own laziness and carelessness. And then gawd blames ALL of his mistakes on one of his own sons who dared to question the inanity of gawds “grand plan”, even when said son is still bound in servitute to his abusive father... And MY beliefs are mocked?
Honestly, this is the best I could do to explain this. The bible is just waaaaaaaaaay too batshit crazy and nonsensical when you think about it. And then I’m not even talking about his needlessly complicated plan involving murdering his own son.
I am not an atheist, but atheism is simply a lack of belief in gods. Why is that so hard for people to understand? Why does atheism pose such a threat to their way of life?
I think people who are threatened by atheism are actually shaky in their own faith. They are afraid of questions atheists might ask.
[Straw atheism]Atheism.

Atheism;
The acceptance of the fact that there are no gods.
The reason your beliefs are mocked, if indeed they are actualy mocked… which is doubtful, would be that your beliefs are absurd and wrong.
Case in point, your bizzare fantasy about atheism.
