"nuclear weapons" are fake. There are no such things as "nuclear weapons". That is just a bullshit fear tactic used by politicians. They need the public to believe that they need their government to protect them from this non-existent threat. Without the fake nuclear threat, your government becomes a lot less important, and a lot less necessary.

Japan was NOT nuked in WW2. Millions of people have lived in Hiroshima and Nagasaki for all of these years in the supposedly uninhabitable areas. The cities were rebuilt immediately following the war. The history you were taught was a lie.

I can think of a few programs that would argue.

The two bombs detonated in the air. Most of the decontamination effort was from wind. Not like the surface blasts they marched the army through, or the Bikini island tests. Also those tests were much more powerful bombs. You’re comparing apples and raisins.

They were inhabited immediately, not quite rebuilt until the mid-fifties…

There is no secrecy about the fact that Hiroshima and Nagasaki have long since recovered from the bombing. Long-term contamination was not the focus - they stood at the very beginning and supposed to be a show of power, a demonstration that the USA had turned a Wunderwaffe into reality, that would force the Japanese Empire into submission and remoulding into an ally against Maoism - a task for which an explosion powerful enough to raze much a major industrial centre with a single bomb is way more valuable than its potential to salt and curse the earth for centuries to come. The height the bombs exploded at meant that most of the fallout was dispersed relatively harmlessly.
Also, when Japan capitulated, the USA imposed a lengthy censorship on the nuclear attacks, so it would be unwise to assume that “rebuilt” was the same as “safe”…

By the way, I would not be surprised if these very same people here *also* believe the ZOG arsenal holds any number of fanciful *secret* weapons of mass destruction capable of causing artificial natural disasters far in excess of the nuclear bombings…
