Scientists have just finished compiling a complete genome for Cheddar Man. It tells us he had blue eyes, dark skin and dark curly hair, and was lactose intolerant.

This will make great propaganda for the anti-white crowd, but it's nothing surprising to those of us who'd read Greg Cochran and Henry Harpending's 2009 book The 10,000 Year Explosion.

In Chapter Three of that book, Greg and Henry (who is alas no longer with us) argue that the switch from a hunter-gatherer lifestyle to agriculture led to vitamin D deficiency, since fresh meat has more vitamin D than cereals. Ultraviolet rays in sunlight, acting on human skin, generate vitamin D; more when the skin is lighter. Sure, too much ultraviolet will give you skin cancer; but in high latitudes like Britain's, too much sunlight is not a problem.

One of the hardest things about debating race denialists is their fixation on skin color. "It's an insignificant thing!" they say, as if they've just discovered the Law of Gravity. "Inconsequential!" Which is kind of true. It's a marker of race, but one of many, and not essential in any classification. There are albino Africans with dead-white skin.

Race is deep ancestry. You're more closely related genetically to some groups than to others. There are some handy external markers like skin color and hair texture, but they don't do anything. What does stuff is the entire genome. By analyzing the entire genome you can predict a person's self-reported race with north of 99 percent accuracy — way better than you'd get from just looking at them.

And to speak of immigration in the context of nine thousand years ago is absurd. Immigration concerns nation-states and their laws, neither of which existed in 7000 b.c. You might as well speculate about a criminal prosecution for the guy who killed Cheddar Man by knocking a hole in his skull.

Oh, so now you’re gonna play the non-skin colour obsessed, genetics-focused ones? Yeah, no. We all (at least, those of us semi-regularly visiting stormfront and other such insanity centrals) saw the complete freakout when that article first came out. I’ve watched it specifically to see if anyone in those threads will be smart enough to point out that skin colour =/= genetics or ancestry, and point out that, given what we know about prehistoric Europeans, the groups most genetically similar to Western Hunter-Gatherers (of which Cheddar Man was one) are North-Eastern Europeans, such as Balts or Finns. There was, maybe, one person out of dozens smart enough to do so.

You ain’t walking that one back. Your ilk’s utter obsession with skin colour above all else was made crystal clear then, along with your bizarre inability to truly accept that the very earliest Europeans weren’t light-skinned, and only later evolved to possess such skin tones.

Well, as our resident wordsmith @Malingspann would abrie, no man is an island but when it comes to humour via cheesey puns it can't get any Cheddar than this.

When it comes to not just Cheddar Man, it’s necessary to slice through all cheesy racism.

Excuse me? WE are suddenly the skin color-fixated ones? By stating that skin color ISN’T important? What kind of crazy mental gymnastics are those? Skin color has been THE essential racial categorization since racism was invented, hell, you yourself are using terms like “anti-white” so your fucking hypocrisy is showing! I don’t even know what to say to this insanity!

Oh and as a genomicist, let me tell you once again that there is no single allele that only exists in one “group” of humanity and not in any other. The concept of biological human races or subspecies is done for. Finished. Nothing points in its direction. And even if we would accept genotype classifications as equivalent to race (which they are not), then we would have one “race” everywhere BUT in Africa, where we would have about 50ish. I have never seen any “race realist” using that kind of classification system. Your goalpost moving will get you nowhere.

So… you are predicting their self-reported race… something that has exactly nothing to do with the genome or biological race concepts. This would prove nothing but that the test would look specifically for single traits like skin tone, which (if it hasn’t been pointed out enough already) HAS BEEN THE BASIS OF RACISM SINCE IT WAS INVENTED. Since “race” nowadays is still based on it, no matter what kind of pseudoscience you spout out to hide that fact, you will obviously get the results you wanted, the bias is ingrained in such a test.

The Cheddar Man had black skin tone, and we all come from Africa, and skin tone doesn’t matter and genomics prove that racism is bullshit, and no amount of racialist whining will change any of that.
