If that's really true, you're partly responsible for the reemergence of previously mostly eradicated diseases.

So far your children have been lucky. That's great. Honestly I wouldn't play Russian roulette with my kids health but that's just me.

So now she's claiming vaccines give you allergies and AIDS. Lovely.

Then for many who are not victims of misinformation, they don't only get vaccinated for themselves or their family, but also because it can protect the vulnerable around them and beyond, they participate to a community effort and when that works epidemics can be disrupted.

For the same reason, misinformation victims don't only look like crackpots in an informed society but also very selfish... And of course the distrust in actual medicine makes them vulnerable to quacks selling whatever doesn't work.
