Baptists are Protestant of course.
Some Baptists have a thing going where they call themselves the original Christians, there before Catholicism came along. This is what is known as ‘bullshit’.
You know, this reminds me of one nice thing about being an atheist. We don’t have to argue about who’s a “true atheist” or whatever. I mean yeah, there ARE different “flavors” of atheism, like are you an “agnostic atheist” or whatever…but generally, we don’t start wars about who the “true atheists” are!
We fought wars over this for more than 200 years! And the result was a stalemate that holds today. Follow whichever flavor of Christianity you like, nobody gives a shit these days, you'll just hasten religion's irrelevance.
